Terry's POV
I hung around in the Batcave and did research on villains when the Bat Computer got an alert. Me obviously being the current Batman, I just had to check what the problem was. "Oh God, here we go again." It was none other than the Royal Flush Gang. They have been on a crime spree lately. The police can't do anything about it at this point, because the Royal Flush Gang always have an ace up their sleeves. Lucky for me, I have one as well. So I suited up and made my way to the crime scene. King, Queen, and Jack didn't see me, but Ace did. "Seriously?" I sighed before I punched Ace in the face. Get it? Anyway after a good fight, Ace nearly kicked my ass when someone came out of nowhere and took him down. It was none other than The Ten of Spades or as everyone liked to call her, Ten.
Melanie's POV
I looked at Terry under my mask and offered to help him up, which he did accept. I obviously wore my combined black and white leather spandex suit with my mask of the same colors that covered my whole head. On the white side of my suit was a 10 stitched in black. I knew my family was behind all this. They forever are. "Wait for my signal. This is between me and my family." I was ready to stop this and leave the gang once and for all. I had some hidden jewels that I was forced to steal by my father. I was planning to give him the damn jewels and leave, but I knew I wouldn't be allowed to leave without feeling my father's wrath.
King's POV
I slowly turned around and saw my daughter. My face obviously had a frown on it. I was still upset with her for the last time she helped Batman foil my plans. "Melanie." She just looked at me with rage in her eyes as she gave me the jewels I forced her to steal for me. "Father, I'm leaving the gang. For good." She told me as my eyes widened. "Melanie, your mother and I love you very much, but we can not allow you to leave the gang. We are a family. Your family." I obviously lied to her. Throughout Melanie's life, I never loved her or my family. She was and still is nothing but an accomplice in my eyes. Unfortunately, Melanie wasn't as gullible as she looked. "Stop it! Just stop lying!" She yelled at me as I took my sword out and began to blast her with it. She dodged most, if not all, my attacks. This is the start of another family feud.
