Chapter Six
Cassandra's POV
Three weeks later
"I think I'm going to be sick," I rushed to the small bathroom in the hotel to empty my breakfast of spaghetti and meatballs in the toilet. After cleaning up I laid down on the bed. My phone buzzed from the bedside table, it was Martha.
"Hello, Martha," I said
"Hey Cass, how have you been?" Martha asked.
"I am not fine, I think I am going to be sick. I've been feeling dizzy and nauseous for the past week now," I blurted out.
"Nauseous?"
"Yeah," I replied.
"Oh...My...God." Martha exclaimed.
"What Martha?" I asked curiously.
"I think you might be pregnant."
"Pregnant! how sure are you?" I asked.
"Nausea, dizziness, they are symptoms of pregnancy Cass," Martha said then I heard a knock on the door.
"Hold on Martha, someone is at the door. " I walked over to the door and opened it. I saw a pair of ocean blue eyes stare at me and I froze at the door.
"Prince Rodriguez," I was surprised, it was unusual seeing Mr. Arrogant at my door.
"Cass," Martha said from the other end of the phone.
"Martha I'll call you back," I said and hung up on Martha before she could reply.
"What do you want?" I stared at the arrogant-looking man standing in front of me.
"Would you at least let me in first?" A wide grin was spread on his face.
"Oh, I'm sorry my manners, come in." There was a hint of sarcasm in my voice. He smiled at me and walked into the small room, his huge body making it look smaller.
"Why are you here?" I asked again, feeling angry.
"Emelia forced me to come to check on you since she couldn't come. She is at her mother's place in Paris. Besides, why are you acting all rude, you should be happy and excited that the prince of Andalusia came to see you."
"Okay, you have seen me now, thank you very much. You can leave now." I pointed at the door.
"Why are you in a rush to get me out of here? It seems like you are afraid of me." He asked with a smirk on his face.
"I have got things to do, I was busy before you came in," I replied while he kept staring at me with piercing blue eyes.
"Don't tell me you have been working?"
"And how is that any of your business?" I was getting furious at the man staring at me. If he bosses people around, he can't do that with me.
"It's because you may be carrying my child, and you are not supposed to work or do anything stressful according to what the doctor told me. " He crossed his arms over his chest.
"Thank you very much for your concern, but I am not the type that sits around all day doing nothing," I answered this time I tried pushing him out the door but he didn't move an inch from where he stood.
Aaaargh, how did I get myself into this? I might be pregnant and Mr arrogant here refuses to leave my room, I hate my life. I glared at the arrogant man in front of me.
"Listen, Miss Valdez, I will not leave here until you promise to stop whatever work you're doing."
"Why do you care so much anyway?" I asked.
