Chapter 22: family

It was a nice evening and they spend it at the mansion. Everyone was there. Elena, Matt, Jeremy, Stefan, Damon, Caroline, Tyler, Alaric, Jenna and the original family; Nicklaus, Elijah, Kol, Rebecca and the new addition Meredith and Emily.

"O.k. just that you know I am the beginning of your bloodline. You already find out that Mary changed Rose, Rose changed Catherine, Catherine changed you two Salvatore brothers, and Damon changed Caroline. Tyler was change by me, and so is Jenna, and of course Mary. Just to be clear." Said Klaus. "Nicky," said Meredith. "What?" asked Klaus, annoyed. "Don't be rude." She warned him. He frowned but said nothing.

Elijah was holding Emily. "About the godparents. There is two of mine and two of Nicky. Mine are Stefan and Elena." Said Meredith. "Mine are Elijah and Caroline." Said Klaus. Caroline was surprise but said nothing. The true was that they decided the all four together.

"What about me?" asked Rebecca. "You are the aunt, and besides there is always the next kid," said Klaus. Meredith looked at him with raised eyebrow. "Next kid hah? Who said that  is going to be a next kid?" asked Meredith. "If you said no, he will just knocked you up anyway, he don't really get a no." said Elijah. "I know that Eli, I was just teasing." She said in a smile and everyone laughed, what make Emily cry.

"Oh you scared her," said Meredith softly and took Emily in her arms. "Shh... its o.k. honey, it's o.k." she soot her. Klaus was right next to her, anxious. "She is fine honey, don't reacted like that," she told him and petted his hair. Klaus nodded but still looked scared.

"Emily will be alright," she promised him.

Sixteen years later...

Emily grew up to be a beautiful young girl. Her hair long and smooth like her mother's but his color is the same blond-reddish as her father's. Her eyes blue and her face are similar to both of her parents. She has a brother that is two years younger than her. His name is Alexander. He looks like a mini version of Klaus, the same hair, the same eyes and almost the same face.

Meredith was frozen as twenty years old girl. Klaus changed her after she almost died at Alexander birth. She was still a huntress, killing only the ones that deserved to die. Klaus open a gallery for his art and Meredith have there some of her drawings too.

Elijah got married with Elena, a fact that surprised everyone. Apparently she wasn't belonging with neither of the Salvatore brothers. But the big surprise was when Elena got birth to twins, a girl named Miranda and a boy named Grayson like her dead parents. It's looks like vampires can have kids.

Alaric and Jenna got married too.

Stefan was dating a girl named Angel Jones, she is still human but knows exactly what and who he is. She is blond and nice, and has a really beautiful smile.

Emily was at the living room making out with a guy on the sofa. Her father wouldn't be there for at least an hour and her mother was in Chicago, hunting bad vampires.

"Emily!" her father voice got her by surprise. She arranged her cloths and straight up. "Hey Klaus," said Damon embarrassed. He really liked Emily, but he didn't want her parents to find out, not yet and defiantly not like that.

"Damon?! What are you doing with my daughter?!" Klaus shouted. "Amm... I don't think you want me to answer that," said Damon. The true was that they were secretly dating for a year by now, and that they past the sex part months ago. Emily growled at her father when he grabbed Damon by his neck.

"Let go of my boyfriend dad," said Emily. "Your boyfriend?! Since when?" he asked and let go of Damon. "It will be a year next week." She said and petted Damon cheek. "I need a drink." Said Klaus and went to his alcohol cabinet.

"What are you doing here anyway?" asked Emily. "Your mom is coming home early, I wanted to cook dinner," said Klaus, drinking his drink. "Ho," she said. "Em' Where is your brother?" asked Klaus. "Alex is studying with Grayson, they have some test tomorrow, and he will come back soon." Said Emily. "Emi I should go," said Damon. "Stay for dinner, I going to take a shower." Said Emily and kissed Damon's lips. "Be nice," she said to her father and got upstairs.

Damon was looking at Klaus that growled at him. "Maybe I should go, tell Emi I will call  her?" asked Damon and stood up. "Sit." Said Klaus. Damon obeyed.

Klaus got in to the kitchen and started to cook. "Why don't you come here Damon?" said Klaus. Damon walked to the kitchen feeling like he is on his way to death penalty.

"You didn't answer my earlier question," said Klaus while cutting onion. "About me and Emi?" asked Damon, his eyes on the knife that is in Klaus's hand. "Her name is Emily," said Klaus. "Sure." Said Damon. "Well?" asked Klaus. "Amm... why don't you ask her?" asked Damon. "Because I am asking you." Said Klaus. Klaus keep doing actions with the knife and Damon got paler with every minute that past. Usually he didn't scared from Klaus, but it's something else when you are sleeping with his daughter.

"Damy?" He heard Emily's voice and breathed deeply. "In the kitchen Em'," said Klaus. Emily got in with a short blue dress, her hair still wet from the shower. "Dad! What did you said to him?!" she asked angrily. "Nothing, I just asked him to answer my first question." Said Klaus while putting meatsliceswith vegetablesin the oven.

Emily rolled her eyes at him. "He is my boyfriend, what do you think we are doing?" asked Emily with raised eyebrow. "Emi," Damon warned her. "We have fun, go out, and making love." She answered. Damon froze for a moment. The fact she said making love make him melt. She is so cute, he thought to himself.

Damon was fast enough to crouch before the knife that Klaus threw at him will hit his head. It got stuck in the wall behind him. "Dad!" screamed Emily.

"What is going on here?" Meredith just got in the kitchen. "Dad threw a knife on Damon," said Emily. Meredith looked at Klaus. "He is sleeping with Emily," said Klaus. "He is her boyfriend, it's normal. I slept with you and you weren't my boyfriend." Said Meredith. " It's not the same... wait a second, you knew?" asked Klaus. Damon stared at Meredith. They were sure it was a secret. "Of course. The looks and smiles every time we meet all together, the late calls, the sneaking around. It was pretty obvious," said Meredith. "Meredith you are absolutely a fun killer with your extra sharp senses." Said Damon. Meredith smiled. "It's not funny," said Klaus. "Nicky she is sixteen, it's normal that she have a boyfriend and it's normal that she have sex with him if that is what she wants, and Damon is o.k. and he knows that I will staked him if he will hurt her, so it perfectly fine." Said Meredith. "Emi I don't like it. Your dad throws knives at me and your mom treats to stake me. I feel really dead." Said Damon. Emily laughed and kissed his lips. "Love you," she said. "Love you too," he replied in a smile.

"So you finely told them?" said Alexander from the kitchen's door. "You knew too?" asked Damon. "Sure, D." Said Alexander. Emily rolled her eyes at him, she hated the one letter names he gave to everyone.          

Klaus smiled and kissed Meredith lips.

"I missed you, love." Said Klaus. "I missed you too, Nicky." Said Meredith.

They all went to the dining room to eat dinner.
