Dear future world,
I have to look up places when I go on holiday to check they are not racist.

Actually I don't. My name is winter and I am another white girl and because of that I have priveledge. The quote above was said by one of my favourite youtubers and biggest role model called tobi, who is from the group called the sidemen, and it really stuck with me as well as the rest of the live stream he did. It broke my heart to hear him say this along side other oppression he has had to face and see him cry because this shouldn't be happening. None of the black community should be this scared to do something as simple as experience life. Dear future world, I don't have to fear my life will end just because of my skin colour. I hope that in your time that no one has to face that. That no one has to be scared they will be killed for playing with a toy gun, asking for help or just sitting in their own home. I hope no black person has to say they can't breath or cry that their son/husband/wife/daughter/friend/family/community has been killed. Dear future world, I hope not only the black community is surviving but thriving in your time. That the voices of the black community are heard and embraced with support and kindness.  Dear future world, I hope you have brought us all together no matter our skin colour.

Dear future world, love is love. I hope the lgbt+ community can be openly in love and accepted. That no matter what sexuality or gender you are, you are accepted. That me and my future husband or wife can freely live in peace and know that everyone else can too. I hope same sex marriage is legal in every country and the adoption of children by same sex couples follows. Dear future world, I hope you can show your love openly to this community too.

Dear future world, I hope to have thrived in the film industry. I know that somewhere in some country i am creating not only a community but a place where everyone can speak and feel safe no matter their skin colour,sexuality, gender, age, ability or religion. I hope that representation helps people to learn and love and grow.

Dear future world, I hope you live by calling each other by your names and not your labels.I hope personality matters the most when loving someone. That this means more to people than the outer appearance or simple things we can't help. 

Dear future world, I hope you are happy and safe.  And I will do everything in my power to help create you.
