CHAPTER 2

THE FIRST MEETING

4 days later I got into a fight with one of the member in the group named Dick. I hate his mouth. He is insulting me. He is such a bad ass. I am totally pissed off. I don’t know why the fuck is that guy insulting everyone he knows. Such a bully. That is exactly the reason why a lot of people hate him so much. He got all the guts on insulting everyone. I texted everyone saying “I hate that Dick. Such an annoying person. I won’t be your friend anymore like we use to Dick. Sayonara. No free treats for you now. Damn you.” A lot of the member texted me saying, “Don’t mind him. He is just being a jerk”.

Then Richard texted me too. Wow after how many days he texted me now.

From: Wp. Richard

Message: Hey. I can be your friend. You can give me treats if you want. HeheJ

-His message made me smile. I still haven’t seen him in person. I really wish I do.

To: Wp.Richard

Message: haha. Ofcourse I will. If we will meet someday. J

-I replied. Is it possible to like someone even if you haven’t seen him in person? I feel something when he texted me. I feel like I really wanted to see him.

From: Wp. Richard

Message: Then let us meet tomorrow in the computer shop. I will be there.

-He added. OMG! Finally, I am going to meet him.

To: Wp.Richard

Message: Sure! Yey. See you Richard J

-I replied with a smile on my face. He wants me to give him a treat. And I want to see him. What does he looks like? Is he tall? Average? I really don’t know. I hope he is single. Haha. But now I am happy I will finally see him in person.

From: Wp. Richard

Message: See you.

The next day, I came late in the computer shop. I don’t want him to think that I am excited in meeting him so I came at the afternoon. When I reach the computer shop as usual there is no vacant already. Then, there is this guy that caught my eye. He is just in the back watching my friends play. He is wearing a grey shirt and jeans. He is handsome, hot looking guy, “chinito” and he is flawless. His hands are feminine. But I am so sure he is not gay. The way he sits is so manly. Then my friend Cj calls him, “Hey! Rich!!!!”. Rich? Is he that Richard guy? I am not so sure. He talks with my friend and I don’t know what they are talking about. I just stare at him secretly. But I think he notices that I am staring at him so I need to turn away or look into different direction. I also got a friend named Crissa by that time, I talked to her and then give a stare with that guy.

Richard’s POV

It’s been a long time since I quit playing games. I have to quit since I met my ex-girlfriend from playing computer games. I wanted to move on so I quit. Everyone convinces me to play again. But I refuse. They wanted me to play again for the team and for the clan. I remember I was really good in playing dota that everyone wanted to be in my team.

It was my friend Kate’s birthday so I decided I need to come out from my shelf since she invited me. Aries (Kate’s boyfriend) needs to borrow some money from me for his girlfriend’s birthday. I sigh and texted him “alright!”

Tomorrow is the day, I wear jeans and grey shirt with black rubber shoes. There is this someone who I need to meet. She is Lorie. I asked Cj about her the other day and Cj described her as cute, bubbly, cheerful, and sexy. He even told me that a lot of man from the group wants to court her but she is not interested in having relationships yet.

When I reached the computer shop, Arvie offered me a sit.

“Wow! Richard long time no see man.” Arvie said while offering me a sit.

“Uh- yeah! So, are you still noob in dota? Hahaha” I asked him teasingly.

“I quit playing just like you.” He answered.

Then a cute girl came, she was really cute I swear. And she had smiled to everyone except me. I know she does not know me. But this girl really caught my eyes. Damn gorgeous! Then Cj called me. So, I asked Cj about that cute girl. “That? She is Lorie. I told you she is cute.” He said.

“Yeah she is.” I said.

I noticed she was looking at me. She hurriedly turned away. Then looked at me again and then she look into other direction. I find it funny. So I secretly giggled.

I asked Cj to invite everyone in the Mindpro (a mall) so we could have a bonding. And he did invite them including Lorie.

Lorie’s POV

 

Cj invites us to go for a bonding all the members of the group are invited. Including that guy. To know who he is, I asked one member of the group about him.

“Who is he?”, I asked Arvie. While we are walking towards the mall. We are about 23 members in the group.

“He is Richard. Why’d you ask?” he asked curiously.

“Uhmm. Nothing. So, that is Richard that I am texting last night. Does he have any girlfriend?” I asked him while giving Richard a stare. I am like 5 persons away from Richard.

“Well, he do got one in Davao City.” Arvie added.

Aw. He got a girlfriend. I have no chance of getting him .lol. Well, I think I like him. He is some kind of mysterious. I know I need to get to know him very well first. But it is just a crush. Every woman got a crush the very first time they see a guy they like too.

When we reach the mall they go to the grocery while me, Crissa, Deejay and Nick (Crissa’s boyfriend) are left outside the grocery and we bought ourselves a lollipop. Like we were kids I thought. We waited for them outside and we don’t have any idea of what they are going to buy. All of us 4 are new member of WP. So we are like still shy with the group. Then they are finished buying groceries. We were like, WOW! It is too many. They bought ice creams, a lot of cheese curls, a lot of carbonated drinks, chocolates, etc. They are not that hungry huh? We just follow them wherever they leads us. Then we reach the 2nd floor of the mall. In the 2nd floor there is a food court that is allowed for by standers. So we are there. We eat the foods that they bought for everyone. Take note it is Richard who treat us all the foods. He must be rich. Then I texted him “Hey. Thank you for the food RichardJ”.

“You’re welcome.” He replied.
