A/N: based on these kissing prompts I did for Josh a while ago. This story was in my head at the time and I finally got around to writing it 🤗

22. A kiss that is leading to more, but is interrupted by a third party.

21. A chaste kiss given to each other because they are in mixed company.

23. A kiss that tastes of the food/dessert they are eating.

45. Kisses exchanged as they move around, hitting the edges of tables or nearly tripping over things on the floor before making it to the sofa, or bed.

You walked out of your bathroom into your bedroom where Josh was sat on the bed fiddling with his tie. You smoothed down your long black dress as you looked in the mirror, fluffing your hair and checking your teeth for lipstick. Josh looked up from his tie to ask you for help, but his jaw almost hit the floor when he saw you in front of the mirror, your back to him. He eyed you up and down, standing up slowly and making his way up behind you where he rested his head on your shoulder, arms coming around your waist. Covering his arms in yours you smiled at your reflection, Josh joining you. He caught your waist and turned you to face him.

'You look amazing' he said adoringly. 'How on earth are you mine'

Smiling at him you leaned in, closing the gap between you. Melting into a soft kiss you soon felt Josh's hands running up and down your waist, settling on your bum where he began patting and squeezing appreciatively. You bit his lip teasingly reaching for his too tight tie, loosening it and flicking it off to the side as you popped the first button of his shirt.

'Guys come on, car's waiting!' Jake said, opening the door, coming face to face with you and Josh practically stripping each other then and there. 'You guys are disgusting. Car's here.' Jake sighed, closing the door behind him. Pulling away reluctantly Josh popped the buttons back on his shirt as you grabbed his tie to re-do it for him. A quick peck to the lips, and a huff from Josh, and you both headed down to the waiting car.

The entire ride was agony. Not so much the gentle ribbing from the boys you received all the way there, but the way Josh looked in his suit. He never wore one and the difference in his appearance was marked. The stiff collar of his shirt made his jawline seem sharper, coupled with the fact he'd recently had a small haircut you really couldn't take your eyes away from his neck. Every time he smiled you saw the muscles move, it looked strong and you wanted to bury your face in there.

The event you arrived at was busy. Crowds of people were moving around with long stems of champagne and small hors d'ouvres in their hands. Somewhere along the lines you had lost sight of Josh, he always bounced from group to group, somehow knowing everyone there. As you willed away your time there with a small group of people, all chatting amongst themselves, you felt a pair of eyes on you.

Looking over the shoulder of the person in front of you subtly you saw his deep chocolate brown eyes smouldering over the rim of his glass as he tipped his head back to take a drink. You smiled faintly to yourself as you watched his eyes roam freely over you as he drank before he started making his way through the crowd.

Now it was your turn to admire him. God knows where his jacket had gone and his tie was slightly looser but those pants still hugged his thighs perfectly. Still smiling and clinking glasses with people as he moved through them you saw his jaw clench as he locked eyes with you once more before he came to a stop at you and your little group. His hand rested at the dip in your waist as you turned to him and met in him a chaste kiss you purposefully cut short to avoid temptation. As you pulled back you could see Josh's nostrils flare as he controlled himself, the tension palpable between you both as you couldn't go any further in front of this many strangers.
