The Unexpected Call

*3rd Person POV*
Practice was going on as usual but one thing was off. Well it wasn't a  thing it was a person more specifically Shoyo Hinata. Hinata was quiet most of practice he would also space out during breaks. The teams were worried about Hinata. They were in the second set against Fukorodani when it was Hinata's turn to serve. Karasuno was worried because if they lost this point they would lose. Hinata took a deep breath and put on a cold, icy stare. With a good amount of power Hinata did one of Oikawa's monster serves shocking the whole gym. Ukai was the first to talk. "What was that Hinata!" He yelled. Hinata looked at him with an emotionless state making Ukai and the others on the bench tense up. "That was one of Oikawa's serves I was practicing it sorry if it was bad." He said monotonly scaring the gym shitless. "I'm going to the bathroom." Hinata said and left the gym. there was silence until Suga spoke up. " There is something definitely wrong with Hinata. " he said and everyone else agreed.

*Hinata POV*
Before I went to bed last night I got a call from my mom saying my dad is home. After all these years why would he come back now?! They first time he left was cause my mom and him got a divorce cause he would hurt us and touch me inappropriately. I thought life was going to go good but then I got the call. So I'm not in the mood but I still had practice. I was so pissed I did the new serve I was working on it still wasn't perfect but it was ok. Once I was out of the gym I ran to the bathroom crying. I felt a panic attack coming on. I did what my mom taught me. I flicked my wrist 10 times while humming my favorite song. (This helps me so Idk what other people do.) I was still in the bathroom when I got a call from a random number. I answered and it was a doctor. "Is this Shoyo Hinata?" I was confused but responded with yes. " I'm sorry to tell you but your mom was found murdered in your house and we heard that some random person came in while you dad was at work so your dad will be in custody of you now. " I felt my whole world crumble. My mom was gone, dad was taking care of us, mom was gone. "Um ok thank you for the information." I said and hung up the phone. It was a few seconds then I let out a blood cuddling scream not caring who heard me. It hurt how was I going to tell Natsu?

*Ukai POV*
We were all waiting for Hinata to come back when we heard a blood cuddling scream. Everyone looked shocked and scared. "That was Hinata!" Suga yelled running to the bathroom with the others and me following behind. We got to the bathroom and saw Hinata having a Panic Attack. Daichi ran over and tried to calm him down but it wasn't working then his little sister went up to him. "Oni-Chan count to 10 please!" She yelled. Hinata looked at her with teary eyed and did as she asked flicking his wrist counting to 10 humming a song. After that she asked what was wrong. All Hinata said was dad and Natsu went wide eyed. Hinata got off the ground, picked Natsu up and exited the bathroom like we weren't there. Everyone looked at each other. "What was that about?" Tanaka asked. Everyone shrugged and headed back to the gym. We enter and went back to our spots and see Hinata but instead of on the court he is by a wall throwing the ball letting it bounce off and muttering something. I went over to see what was wrong. Her looked at me again this time with dull eyes. " Um are you ok you were having a Panic attack did something happen? " I asked. He looked dead at me I felt tense from the stare. "Peachy." He said in a monotone voice and walking away. Needles to say I was worried and scared.

* 3rd Person POV*
Practice went on a usual and it ended with Karasuno winning from Hinata's insane serves and spikes. They went to shower and change. Hinata went to the managers and asked if they could shop tomorrow telling them that he wasn't feeling well which they agreed. Natsu wanted to stay with the managers which was fine with Hinata. They parted ways and instead of going to eat with everyone else Hinata went straight to the Karasuno room and to his futon. He scrolled through his phone when he got a text it was from his grandma. The funeral is in two days I know you are at your volleyball thing but it shouldn't take that long. Also I'm coming to pick you up but it might be best not to bring Natsu. He read the text and sighed sadly. He couldn't believe that his mom was gone.

Everyone was finished and headed to their rooms. The Karasuno team entered their room and saw Hinata asleep in his futon with his phone beside him. They took a closer look and saw dried tears on his face. "Hinata has been crying." Asahi stated. Suddenly Hinata's phone buzzed and it was a message. Nishinoya decided to be nosy and look what he saw broke his heart. It was from Hinata's dad. Hey stupid fag don't tell your damn team about me or else you'll have hell to pay later useless piece of shit.(this hurt writing.) Nishinoya looked shocked and scared. He decided not to say anything and headed to his futon. "Noya you ok you look sick?" Tanaka asked. Nishinoya nodded and slipped into his futon slowly falling asleep.

The next day also this chapter will be a little longer than the others

Everyone headed to the eating room after finishing getting dressed and showering. Hinata also went but didn't say anything or eat alot he only got a snack bar and left leaving everyone confused except one person, Nishinoya. He decided to keep an eye on Hinata that day.

Time Skip to practice

Karasuno didn't know who they were up against until they heard the doors bust open. It was Shiratorizawa. Hinata looked up and saw to I know a managers and to talk to them because he was busy thinking of ways to keep him and Natsu safe. Tendo spotted Hinata and decided to talk to him. "Its Karasuno's number 10!" He yelled. Hinata looked up with his emotionless face shocking Shiratorizawa. "Hello." He said as he waved them walked over to tell Coach Ukai. Hinata walked over to where Takeda and Ukai were sitting and decided to tell them about the funeral. " Um Coach can I talk to you and Takeda-Sensei for a minute? " he asked. Ukai and Takeda looked at each other and nodded. Hinata sighed and started talking. "I got a phone call that my mom was murdered and the funeral is in 1 day and I wanted to tell you that I wouldn't be able to practice that day." Hinata said tears filling his eyes. The Sensei's looked at Hinata with warm smiles. " Sure just tell us when you get back is someone coming to pick you up? " Takeda asked. Hinata nodded. Hinata bowed and thanked the Sensei's. Practice went on and Kageyama wanted to do the special attack but Hinata had so.staying different in mind. "Kageyama toss as high as you can!" Hinata told him. Kageyama was confused but obeyed. Once he set the ball high Hinata jumped and reached the ball slamming it onto the other side of the court. It was silent and Hinata looked around seeing everyone's shocked faces. He tried to stifle his laugh but ended up laughing. Everyone saw and felt at ease. "You all looked like Statues!" He exclaimed inbetween laughs. Karasuno won against them and then practice was over.

Time Skip to the day of the funeral cause I'm LAZY...sorry

*Hinata POV*
Today was the day.I got ready and headed outside. Everyone was already awake and they were eating. I just had to pass the door at that time. "Hinata where are you going?" Daichi asked. I turned and with a sad smile I told them. " Oh I'm headed to a funeral my mom passed away. " I said then I checked the time. "Oh I'm sorry I really must be going." I said, bowed, and left the camp. My grandma was already outside and we headed to the Funeral.

Me and my Grandma made it to the funeral. I entered and immediately saw my dad with an evil grin on his face. He came over and have me a "hug" even though I knew it was a show. "Meet me in the bathroom." He whispered. I felt my heart drop. I did as told and headed to the bathroom.
