"konoha is right over there. he can point out the way to their shop. good luck handling kuroo."
kuroo crossed his arms in disagreement as he stomped away mumbling curses to himself. it wasn't like yukie was wrong about him being a handful to take care of. after all, being around him was similar to juggling two children. that carried weights around them that would drag you down.
and were on fire.
kenma still didn't know anything about the guy other than he knew a way for him to get back home and that was on the top of his priority list. followed by learning how to turn into a cat. being able to prance around, knocking over things as you please was the closest he was ever getting to heaven. his reservation up there had expired.
as they advanced into the village-like area, more flowers became visible. they had the same beautiful look they had the first time he saw them, though the ones further in varied in size. some as small as pennies. others as tall as him.
they looked silky. he bet they were. he reached out for a flower more on the taller side. the dew from which he assumed had come from the morning, caused the flower to glisten. he reached out to graze his fingertips against the plant's petals. but...
a hand grabbed the collar of his shirt, pulling him away from the abnormal sight of nature. the heels of his feet dragged along the ground. the rough texture of the dirt caused a hole to open up in one of his socks allowing the sole of his foot to be cut. he hissed at the stinging that settled into his body.
sure he could walk, but why put in the extra effort. the dragging wasn't pleasant whatsoever, though they were moving faster than they would've if kenma wasn't being hitched along like luggage. yet a question lingered in his mind. what was so bad about that flower?

"why the hell are you asking me where the shop is? you know this kuroo. i'd expect better from you tsukishima. i don't know about the guy not wearing shoes though. it's just across from here."
'konoha' pointed at a small brick shop across from them. a chimney released a purple-tinted gas into the air. it moved in an odd pattern as it rose into the atmosphere. whatever that thing was, it looked ominous and kenma wasn't interested in it.
"let's just skip this, okay?" kenma began dragging his feet away, continuing down the dirt road.
"i second that motion." tsukishima followed behind, leaving kuroo looking dumbfounded. let's just say, their rebellious actions didn't get them very far.

"bokuto-san, unfortunately, you cannot set fire to the shop." the ravenette pinched the bridge of his nose. "again."
