I Don't Need Help..

Thank you so so much to @KharisKunZeVampire for this idea! It will be broken up into two chapters because it was getting hella long. Sorry about that 😅 but please enjoy!!

~Logan's POV~
Remus and Damion just went up to bed. I told them they had no need to wait for me, and I would be up there soon. But I know I wouldn't. I have work to do. I do not have time for sleep right now.

I was typing a very important paper for work. I work as a reporter most of the time, but I often times analyze my coworkers papers. My boss told me to rewrite many different papers, all with completely different topics. The dead line was quite far, but I wanted it done as soon as possible.

I checked my watch after what get like years of typing. Four in the morning.. A part of me said to go to sleep, but the other part said I could finish this. I continued to push myself. I was on my third cup of coffee tonight. It wasn't doing much though. My eyelids felt heavy, and I could barely see what I was typing. I had to stop.. I closed my computer and stood.

I used the walls as support as I walked to the stairs. I had to almost cling to the railway so I didn't fall. I stumbled into our room and quietly closed the door before falling into bed, not even changing out of my clothes from today. I passed out almost instantly.

This cycle continued for nearly two weeks now. My boss continued sending things in for me to rewrite since he loved the way I wrote things so much now.

~3rd person POV~

Damion was the first to notice Logan's strange behavior. Logan never did anything with them anymore. He's always so tired. He drinks an unhealthy amount of coffee now too. His boyfriends are worried about him driving. That's how bad it has gotten. He'll fall asleep in the middle of a conversation with one of them. Damion spoke to Remus about all of this in private and they came up with a plan to figure out why he's been so tired.

That night, Remus and Damion went up to bed and Logan got right back to work. Little did he know, they were just waiting.

Damion could stay up all night if he really wanted to, that wasn't a problem for him. But for Remus? It was going to be difficult.

They watched a few quiet movies to pass the time and try to stay awake. Damion checked the time on his phone. It was 5:30 in the morning. Logan was still downstairs. Remus looked a bit shocked when he saw the time. He and Dee got out of bed and quietly left the room.

They slowly crept downstairs and saw Logan working. Type. Type. Typing away at his computer. The two glanced at each other in disbelief. Is this what he had been doing for the past two weeks?

They waited for a few more moments before going to either side of Logan and placing one of their hands on each of his shoulders. He flinched and looked up at the both of them.

"Oh.. hello my loves.. what are you doing awake this late?" He asked softly.

"We came to ask you that very question." Damion said.

"Yeah Lo-Lo!" Remus agreed.

"I'm just working.. you two need not worry for me." Logan said quickly.

"Logan, it's five o'clock in the morning." Damion have him a stern, yet worried look. "Come to bed.."

"No, no I need to finish this.." he insisted.

"Lo! This isn't healthy!" Remus joined in.

"I know.. but I need-"

"Logan, if your work is keeping you from sleeping then I'd say it isn't worth it." Damion said simply. He put a gentle hand on Logan's shoulder. "Please come to bed.."

Logan finally nodded. "Alright, alright.." he closed his computer and stood up, stumbling a bit. Remus quickly help him up.

They helped Logan up the stairs and he collapsed on their bed. They carefully changed him into more comfortable clothes so he didn't hurt himself in his sleep before climbing in bed with him and falling asleep.
