Looking in the mirror while brushing my hair is a chore. Sighing, it seems brushing my hair doesn't seem to make it stay down. Frowning at the sight, I give up and walk out of the bathroom.Going in the kitchen, I fix myself a bento and an apple to go. Walking to my room, I put on my clothes, and grab my headband and look at the mirror in my room.
"Where should i put it?"
Humming softly, I try different places which don't work at all. Slumping in defeat, I tie it around my forehead. Feeling my face court into a frown, at my hair which refuses to be tamed.
Brushing with my hands doesn't help one bit. Growling in frustration, I stomp out of my room and grab my backpack. Putting the apple in my mouth, I put on my shoes.
Holstering my backpack, I walk out of my apartment while locking it. Walking out the building, I turn to where the academy is. Looking around, it seems that everyone is beginning to open up their businesses now.
"Well it is early in the morning."
A scream pierced the air. Turning my head, I see a group of girls looking at me. Shifting slightly at the sight, I go back to walking. A group of footsteps sound behind me. Feeling myself sweat a little, I pick up speed, hearing the footsteps pick up as well.
Gulping, I break into a jog until I'm sprinting down the street to the academy. Pounding footsteps sound behind me, the blood drains from my face when I realize who the group of girls is.
"Fangirls."
"RUN!!!"
Picking up more speed, I tense my legs and jump up on the rooftops. Seeing a spot on a roof that can at least hide a human, I hide behind it while catching my breath. Tensing slightly at the sound of the fangirls, I get ready to bolt again.
I hear pounding footsteps run past the spot I am hiding behind. Letting out a breath, I peek out. Seeing no one, I quickly run to the academy. Hearing a squeal, I quicken my pace.
Panting slightly, I dodge a fangirl that jumped on the rooftop, and tried to intercept me. I keep dodging attempts to catch me until one of the girls tackles me.
The wind gets knocked out of me from the impact. Panting, I'm picked up and forced to stand. Sweating seeing that I'm caught, I try to think of a plan.
"Need help?"
Frowning at the voice, I slump in defeat.
"Inner, i thought you said that you weren't going to talk to me anymore."
"I only did that because you were being stubborn. Besides, you always know I'm right Outer."
Feeling my face heat up. I shake my head slightly, I converse with Inner about the plan. Shifting in a position where i can run easily, i open my mouth and blurt out,
"Well ladies, this has been fun. But I really need to get to the academy, and I can't have you gals making me late."
One of the girls face shifts in displeasure. Most of the girls faces shift in discomfort and guilt. Seeing they were distracted, I smirk at my success.
"Well i gotta go, see ya!!"
I twist my hands from the girl's grip and body flicker out of there. As soon as my feet touch the ground I run all the way to the academy. Due to my speed, my sandals slide on the floor almost making me crash into a wall, but i catch myself just in time.
Panting, I see the door to my classroom. Slumping in relief, I catch my breath and open the door. Looking at my classmates, it hits me to see how much time has passed, and how we are finally real ninja.
