Everyone turned their heads as both sets of Zak's grandparents walked to their seats, their arms linked. Jacob walked out and to his place in the garden a few moments after, Vincent, Harvey, and Dave following shortly after. Zak walked out, his arm linked linked with his mom's. He took a deep breath, earning an encouraging smile from his best man, Jacob. Suddenly Darryl's grandma and grandpa came out, smiling warmly at Zak. As Clay and both Georges walked to the side opposite of the groomsmen. As Darryl walked out, everyone stood up, and Zak's face was frozen in shock.
Zak's POV
I hear the priest talk to our parents and eventually talk about the bible verse we chose and I squeeze Darryl's hand, telling him that I was starting to regret making the ceremony so long. Eventually the priest told me to repeat my marriage vows, which I did without thinking, Darryl doing the same soon after. Jacob gave the priest our rings and we said our ring speeches, and as the priest said "Then I now pronounce you husband and husband. Zak, you may now kiss your husband." I pulled Darryl in and kissed him with as much passion as I had in my body, then more. "I now announce to you, for the first time ever, Mr. and Mr. Zak Ahmed." And with that, I knew I was the happiest man alive.
