"oh yes! i just remembered something!"
Jimin said while peeking out his head out from the thick blanket.
Jungkook narrowed his eyebrows curiously at the omega and signalling him to continue.
"I-i saw you practicing t-this morning but don't think of me as a creepy or something! I suddenly saw you and-"
The alpha cut him off by laughing slightly at the prince making the said prince pouting madly.
"yah! don't laugh"
Jimin mumbled in embarrassment
"alright, go on Prince Jimin"
Jungkook said after his laughter died
"I wonder, how can you win? you fought twenty high ranked soldiers without anyone's help!"
Jimin asked as the alpha began to gulp silently while thinking about a legal excuse
"I have been practicing for years"
Jungkook replied after awhile.
"really? i don't think so Jeongguk ssi"
Jimin said as he looking at the alpha suspiciously
"it depends on you to believe it or not"
Jungkook said and rolled his eyes
"okay i believe you"
the omega then looking out the window where the stars hung in the sky, sparkling from up there
The room suddenly became quiet, no one wanted to make another conversation to kill the silence between them. Jimin who was still staring out the window with Jungkook who was looking over his feet continued their action until Jimin realized something and finally broke the silence.
"I just thought! Can I call you by nickname ??"
Jimin asked excitedly
Jungkook chuckled slowly as he shrugged his shoulders at the omega prince who was now pouting to make the alpha agree with him.
"i don't think so jimin"
Jungkook said while shaking his head slowly
"no, please only when we're alone!"
Jimin said while giving the alpha his adorable puppy eyes, his one and only weapon to make everyone hard to resist him
"jimin, it's not like we have a relationship or what but this will-" Jungkook stopped when he saw the disappointed look in the omega's hazel eyes
"-okay, you can"
Jungkook continue and sighed softly
But omega still looks gloomy, not changing the expression on his face making alpha feel a little bit guilty as he scratched the back of his neck in silence. The alpha missed his smile already.
"what do you want to call me jimin?"
Jungkook asked once again, hopefully the omega will give him at least a short response.
Finally, Jimin lift up his head with a cute pout visible on his face. Jungkook lower his head so he could making better eye contact with the omega who's hugging his pillow cutely.
"..c-can i call you gukkie?"
Jimin asked with hesitation
Jungkook smiled warmly at the small omega and nods his head in agreement.
"alright"
Jungkook said while ruffling the omega's soft blonde hair making the omega suddenly purr softly with closed eyes.
Both of their eyes widen as they were falling into a deep silence, when the wolf is purring it means that they feel safe or are close to their mate and now Jimin is just purred when Jungkook plays with his hair so that probably-
"i think i need head to my dorm or else some people will think negative about us" Jungkook broke the silence
Before the alpha could turned to the door, the omega prince hesitantly tugged his shirt.
"c-can you please s-stay.. for today?"
Jimin stuttered as he avoids making eye contact with the alpha
"It'll be somewhat risky, what if someone barged into your room at right now or maybe later?"
Jungkook sounded gentle with his voice.
Jimin shook his head before sighed softly, trying his best to gain his confidence and removed his nervous.
"I often have nightmares"
"it's a childish excuse my prince"
Jungkook could not help to chuckle.
It might be a childish reason but Jimin did not lying. Jungkook grew concern when the omega fall into a deep silence for a couple of minutes. To be honest, Jungkook does not really fond of having nightmares at nights either, he would rather staying up after that.
"taehyung said it's normal to experience it once in awhile"
The omega lowering his voice
Jungkook bent down to Jimin's level and held both of his shoulders while looking into his hazel eyes assuredly.
"okay, get under the cover or you'll catch cold"
The alpha said warmly making the omega feels butterflies down his stomach
The clock barely reach 12 o'clock at night while the alpha stared down at the omega between his arms, sleeping peacefully while seeking for the warmth and comfort in his embrace in the same time.
Jungkook smiled softly as he tucked some of the omega's hair behind his ear before lifting his body slowly out of bed, trying to be quiet as possible.
By the slight movement, it caused Jimin to whimper lowly and turned to hug one of the pillows with Jungkook's scent tightly as he slowly drifted back to his dream world. Jungkook sighed in relief, he walked towards the door and turned the door handle, revealing the king from outside.
His heart is beating like crazy as he thought maybe the king will misunderstanding him but the said king look at him with a pair of gentel eyes instead of angry one, caused him to calm down.
"Jeong Jeongguk"
the king called him
Without being told, Jungkook bowed a perfect 90° in front of him to show sign of respect.
Thanks God he is wearing his bandana!
"yes, my majesty"
Jungkook said after lifting his upper body up to look at the king better.
"i want to tell you something, come follow me"
the king command as the alpha knows that he cannot refused him even though he tried.
Jungkook obediently follow the king without saying anything, just silence engulfing both of them while walking through the hallway. They reach the door near Jimin's room as the alpha narrowed his eyebrows curiously, if they are going to talk about something they will head to his highness office where's in upstairs.
"come in, don't worry"
the king said as the alpha slowly get inside the room as well while eyeing everything inside
The room was painted with white and gold color, symbolic of royalty. A queen sized bed with the closet are obviously high quality don't forget about the lamps being the source of light for the dimmed room. There's also a personal bathroom inside. Everything here are perfect, almost like his old room before he transferred to this kingdom.
"starting from today, this will be your room, need to stay in the soldier dormitory with the others anymore"
The king snapped Jungkook back to reality.
"I do not understand that, your Majesty, I am not a royal guest. I am just a bodyguard for prince Jimin, I don't deserve all of this" Jungkook began to feel strange.
"please accept this room since it's located near prince Jimin's room and don't worry everything here are complete so feel free to use them"
the king making the alpha nodded his head in defeat, being rude in front of the majesty is the last thing he ever want to happen. He might not able to return to his kingdom anymore after this.
"thank you very much, my majesty"
Jungkook bowed once again at the king who had a soft smile plastered on his face
"you're welcome, I will get going so you may take your rest since it's already late at night"
