A world full of heroes

A world full of villains

A world full of quirks

This is what made up the modern-day, but it also made inequality more prominent, not all men were made equal. This is what he learned at a young age, seeing all classmates unlock their quirks while Midoriya couldn't show them their own, making him the odd man out. They thought getting to middle school things would change, if even a little, with people starting to grow up. It had turned to still be the same, only with more swearing and beatings. They had done their best to keep to themselves from people that could harm them, the bullies always wanted to pick a fight. He was seen as an easy target who didn't have a quirk and was relatively small for their age.

Years passed and it seems nothing would change, when they were called out for applying to UA it had caused the blond bully to assault them and that he should jump off the building. That day he considered going for it, but his inner voices had him push passed that, at least until a slime villain appeared and attacked. Before he was taken over, they were saved by none other than the number one hero. This led to a conversation of quirkless/people living with mental illness being able to be heroes, which the older male said that wouldn't be possible and be realistic.

When left alone the teen almost went ahead and jumped, a commotion distracted them enough to be saved. There the slime had captured their bully while heroes stud doing nothing, they took the chance and leaped into action against everyone's concerns. Soon All Might came and saved both, though the young teen was scolded for recklessness while the bully was praised for their actions. Midoriya removed themselves from the crowd and slowly made their way to their home, only for the blond bully to find them mid-way and yell at them for their actions that weren't warranted.

All Might found him again, coming to apologies and propose for them to take their quirk and mantle of the pillar of hope. They told the hero that though flattered, he couldn't just accept something so grand, that it be best if he proved himself over time, to ensure he was really worthy. With this started the ten months of training for UA entrance exams and to obtain One for all. The road that was set wasn't easy, training their body endured was not to be forgotten. But in the end, it had culminated in resaving the quirk and participating in the UA exams. Though not getting any points by destroying robots, they had saved participants to get rescue points and pass that way.

With that said, today was the first day of classes and the teen was exited. After meeting up with their mentor early in the morning, they returned home to get in their uniform and update their two whiteboards. He was greeted by a fluffy dog, Mirai. The dog was a grey and white corgi he had saved from a dumpster in their youth, lending into their friendship. Midoriya changed and went into the kitchen, taking out some dog food and filled Mirai's bowl.

"What should we ea- pancakes!" he didn't expect their question to be answered so fast but shrugged regardless.

In a plastic bowl, he put flower and water with a bit of sugar, mixing it up as best he could to make the batter, poured it onto a pan and began cooking. Midoriya pondered on what to do after school, soon voices began to be heard, all different in their own way had different ideas as to what to do. He frowned, serving the stack on a pottery plate, he hoped to decide on something for this special day, but of course, everyone was being so divided. He pulled out a fork and knife and began to eat, the food was rather bland but it was better than nothing.

A moment later he started feeling not himself, putting the fork down he runs his hand over his pants leg, feeling the fabric. He tries to focus on the present but it wasn't working. He just hoped he would wake up in school.
