Abigail's POV

"Where's mom?" I asked. "She's sleeping upstairs, I gave her a sleeping pill." He said dryly. I frown.

"Seb are you okay?" I asked, he didn't answer. "Seb?" I asked again, he sighed and walked away.

"Come." He said, giving his hand to me, I took it and he lead me to my mom's room. I saw her sleeping peacefully. And I can feel myself smiling, she's the only family that I have, I bend down and kiss her forehead, I go outside the room with Sebastian following me, I close the door and sighed.

"Do you like him?" He said suddenly, I tilt my head and give him a confused look.

"Huh?" I asked, and he sighed.
"Aaron... do you like him?" He asked again. "Well, yeah he's my boss." I said nervously, he caressed my cheek and rub his thumb slowly. He's standing so close to me, I can feel his breath.

"Do you love him?" He asked, I looked at his chest and looked back at him. "Of course not, I just met him." I shook my head lightly.

"Good." He said as he kissed my forehead, his lips stay there for a while and then he pulled away, he smiled at me and walked away. I stand there still confused about what just happened.

The next day

Ring ring ring ring

I rolled my body to the side of the bed searching for the alarm, I groaned and saw the time.

7.35 A.M.

My eyes widened and I quickly jumped out of the bed.

I'm late, I'm late, I'm late

I quickly strip and jump into the shower, I shower as quickly as possible, I dry my hair and put just a light makeup, I put on a white tank top and a put on a white transparent shirt, I put a black pants.
I quickly take my purse and run down stairs and found my mom making pancakes.

"Morning ma!" I screamed. "Good morning sweetie." I kissed her cheek and say goodbye as I take a sandwich. I take my 3 inches heels and headed outside.

"Taxi!" I yelled as I waved my hand, I get in and looked at my watch.

7.50 A.M.

Oh no!

After like a decade I finally arrived, I paid the taxi and I run outside, I run to the elevator and press the button.

"Come one! Come on!"
I said impatiently.

Ding! The elevator pinged open and I run to Aaron's office, I take a deep breath and knocked the door.

"Come in." A sexy muscular voice called. He's looking at his laptop, and he glanced at me and stare me in silence. "You're late." He said leaning back at his chair and crossed his arms in front of his chest.

"I-I'm sorry sir." I said looking down at my feet. I can see he's walking to me, he stops in front of me and he put his index finger below my chin pulling my head up so I was looking at him. I looked everywhere but him.

"Looked at me." He ordered in a low voice, I looked up and meet his dark grey eyes, I bit my bottom lip nervously and his gaze follow my movement, he looked back at me, he leaned his head closer and when he's about to kiss me there's a knock on the door, he groaned and pulled away.

"Come in." He called. The secretary come in and I can see a big guy with a black hair standing behind her. He looks a lot like Aaron actually. "Excuse me sir, you have a guest." She said, and Aaron nodded at her and she left. The guy behind her stepped in and hug Aaron tightly, but he didn't move.
