Eijiro fell into a stunned silence. He quickly attempted to gather his thoughts and form a response.

"I-I really can't say much since like you said I don't know you but i think the fact that you're able to admit that to me and yourself means your a good person or at least trying to be"

"Really?", he mumbled looking at the ground. "Yeah", Eijiro said softly. The blondes muscle seemed to relax a little at his response.

"Um I know this might be wrong of me to ask considering I just told my soulmate I don't want to be with them but, do you think we could be friends?" , the blonde ask hesitantly.

He smiled softly at the other boy "Of course we can but I'm going to need to know your name". The blonde chuckled. "Bakugo Katsuki". "I'm Kirishima Eijiro".

Eijiro smiled widely "It's nice to meet you Bakugo".

(Izuku's POV)

Izuku has never really been one to think about soulmates. Of course seeing odd patches of color that just didn't seem to be natural always reminded him of soulmates. But he just didn't think he was ready to ever have a soulmate.

He didn't really like himself much not even close to loving himself how was he supposed to love someone else.

The thought frightened him he didn't want to disappoint anyone or make them feel unloved.

So usually he chose not to think about it but there were times where he couldn't help but wonder what it would be like to have a soulmate.
