Hi! I'm Eli, (she/them), and before I get into the story I have one quick thing to say about this book.
I'm pretty sure anyone who has watched Cartoon Therapy is aware of the character Kai, who has a disease called Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (or EDS).
I do not have EDS nor do I know anybody who has EDS, but I really wanted to include Kai in this story. So I did my research (quite a lot of it) so I could have a better understanding of how Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome affects those who have it. If I misrepresent EDS in any way, (which is the last thing I want to do), please don't hesitate to correct me. I won't be offended by being told I got something wrong.
Now that that's been said, I hope you like my story!
