Roman and Remus Charming were considered different by their families. Different from their friends. The twins wanted a fresh start. New high school, new problems. New teachers. Annoyingly smart tutors. Emo kids. School psychologists who get. According to Roman, ¨That cute boy from the dama club.¨ And, most importantly, feeling free, from everything.

Remy Sanders works as a barista at his local Starbucks. He lives in a crummy apartment in a sketchy part of town, and doesn't usually have a ton of spare change. He completely lost touch with all of his family members. They'd cut him out of their lives... once they found out about his kid. Emile Picani is a hardworking therapist. He loves to help people from all walks of life, even though it can sometimes be pretty stressful. Emile lives in a small house just outside the busy city. He tried his best to keep in touch with his family, even though they don't live in the same area. Every afternoon, Remy and Emile share a train ride home. They never speak to each other, nor do they even notice the other one, until one day.

After the tragic death of their parents Virgil and Remy move in with their grandmother in California. They meet up with the others and form a superhero team, however Virgil longs for closure and will do anything to get it.

Remy Sandoval is a 26 year old part-time bartender, part-time college student whose friends are worried about him, so they recommend he tries out therapy. Remy reluctantly agrees and starts seeing Dr. Emile Picani. Emile had recently finished college and was violently thrown into his brutal reality. He had no friends. The closest he had to friends was the patients that came and visited him, though most were driven away by Picani's loud and bubbly personality, few stayed long. When he meets Remy, he expects him to be just like everyone else... but Remy has no plan to leave.
