There it was again. Another note fell out of the locker. You bentdown to pick up the note. Your e/c eyes scanned the paper. It was some sort of anonymous love note to you. Groaning, you threw the note into the trash. Who does this person think he is? Isn't this guy brave enough to tell it to her face? You brushed your h/c hair out of your face, and walked down the hallway to your next class. The minute you sat down at the desk, you saw another love note on the table. Tearing the paper apart, fuming, you had enough, in desperate need to find out who was this guy. Little did you know that the secret admirer was there, watching your every move...
Toris sat in the class, observing y/n with gaze full of love, but also melancholy on his face... Why was she ignoring him? Why she isn't reacting positively on the notes she was receiving? Deep in his thoughts, he didn't hear that professor said something to him.
"Mr Laurinaitis, are you listening?" The young, blackhaired woman asked. Toris quickly folded another love letter and hid it in his pocket, while whole class turned to him.
You were resting your chin on your right palm, listening to the rambling of the professor. I already know this stuff... you thought. When she called out the attention of Toris, all of the students turned to him. Including you as well. Smirking at him, your e/c gaze met his green one. After that awkward moment, well for Lithuanian anyways, you looked forward again, smile fading on your face.
Toris sighed, red in his cheeks from embarrassment. "Atleiskite! It won't happen again!" he said quickly. The teacher smirked. "You've always been careful on lessons... Wait... Is it a girl reason for your behaviour?" She absolutely loved to muddle in other countries'/people's lives, especially in their love and feelings.
A/N: I personally have a professor like this, so she's perfect for this role...Toris slowly nodded, his head down, staring at his shoes. He was too nice to lie anyway.
A small giggle was heard from his companion, Feliks. "Wow, Liet, that's totally uncool, like, you know?" The Polish boy teased him. Ah great. All he needed was Poland and his opinion. The professor smiled and continued on her lesson.
Girl problems, eh? You thought to yourself. Big mistake Toris, big mistake.. Even though you could not help but feel a little interested about finding out on who this mysterious girl was. Was she okay, smart, beautiful? Bet she is...
After the class, you took up your stuff along with the other students for their break. You looked over to the brunette, smirking in the process. God, he was so adorable. The fact that Feliks is his friend, makes it even more adorable.
"Stop it already, will you?!" Liet tried to get his thoughts to Feliks's mind, but he wouldn't listen. "Toris is totally in love! Toris is totally in love!" Feliks practically chanted, while Toris blushed even more. He seriously wanted to slap him, but that would count a wanting to start a war. Ah, the difficulties of being a country...
He noticed that y/n was watching him and practically froze in time and space. At his unfortune, Feliks noticed. "Toris, like, what's with you?" Lithuanian looked away, muttering "Nothing, it's nothing" as he continued on walking toward her.
You were talking to another country, America or more known as Alfred. Although your attention was focused on Toris, but you hid that well.As he walked toward you, you waved to Alfred, with words "See you later!" and stopped directly in front of the Lithuanian.
"Hey Toris~" You greeted, while your e/c orbs were gleaming with excitement. "How are doing?"
Oh God help me... Toris thought, practically trembling, worried that he'll mess something up.
"L-Labas, y/n" he said quickly, trying to relax himself, while his green eyes gazed at her. "Pretty well, I guess" he rubbed the back of his head, while Feliks unexpectedly grabbed him for shoulders and jumped up. "He's totally in love!" Feliks exclaimed while Toris tried to hold back his scream of surprise. As he saw who grabbed him, he calmed down, sighing.
"Go on, tell the whole world about that..." he tried to remain neutral about that subject, or at least to seem like that.
You couldn't help but chuckle at the two. "I could tell Feliks, I could tell." You smiled amused at the Polish friend. You three walked to the cafeteria, picking up your portions and sitting at one table. "So Toris, who's the lucky girl you like?" You asked between two bites of the meal.
A/N: I'll leave up to you what were you eating...Oh, no... Toris thought. He had to think of a plan, a good one, and immediately. He was still worrying about will she accept him if she finds out that he was tossing her messages. "It's not safe here though..." he said. "The information could leak out and kinda ruin my life..." He subconsciously nodded to Feliks. "Ah, what? I can, like, have my mouth totally shut, Liet!" He objected, but Toris slowly moved his head right and left. "I know you too well, Feliks. You'll also find out when it's time for it"
"Fine." Feliks crossed his arms. "I need to check on something..." he stood up after he finished his meal, then walked away, while Toris let out a long sigh of relief. After both you and him finished as well, you stood up and walked your way out, to pick up your books from your lockers.
"Okay..." Toris said a bit nervous, after he picked up what he needed. "I believe nobody pays attention on us, so... I think I'll tell you now because later on it will be hard..."
He pulled out the note he folded before and gave it to you.
In small, delicate letters, a poem was written on it:
Ol šatyr, ol čiebiar kiundia,
siuviarim,
Ingirdia olturma
anda kiusiančliarim. He leaned to your ear, whispering: "Aš tave myliu, y/n...", then kissed your cheek while blushing madly, looking like a tomato from the distance.
You stayed there, frozen, a shocked expression on your face as you looked up to the brunette. Me?! You blushed as hard as he was, still in disbelief, but all the pieces of the puzzle were fitting in...
Without another word, you took him by the hand, pulled him at the end of the line of lockers, then pushed him against the side of one, kissing him softly as you tangled your fingers in his hair.
Toris kissed you back, wrapping his right arm around your waist, pulling you closer to himself, in the manner of never letting you go... He wanted this moment to last forever and beyond... "So you did like me after all..." he said softly after breaking the kiss for a little while.
"Well.." you shrugged your shoulders. "Who wouldn't?" You rested your arms on his shoulders, while he stroked your hair gently "Aš tave myliu, Toris"
