he's always teasing her about her "crushes", which is basically any guy other than the members who she's seen hanging out with. he's like the joking older brother, but if she went to him for advice he would take it seriously and try to help her with her concerns.

he's usually the one protecting jiyeon from the teasing she receives from the others. they usually text each other to ask if either one of them has eaten, and if not they ask if they want to eat together that day.

hyunsuk—
her best friend, her ride or die. she has many friends but she's especially close to hyunsuk. they went to school together and jiyeon is only months older than him. they text a lot since they aren't in the same group, they don't see each other for long periods at a time so they text and facetime a lot to catch-up.
