~ snowy day ~ Kairi Cosentino discontinued

Part 3

Beep, beep, beep
I heard my alarm ringing. I looked at the time 5:10, I went to the bathroom and showered. After that I brushed my teeth and put on a random hoodie and sweats.

    I grabbed my phone and car keys and drove to school. I ran past the soccer field again and again there were three dark figures standing there. It was kinda weird but whatever, I ran to the gym and changed into my volleyball clothes. I put my hair in a ponytail and went to do warm ups.

Kairi's pov

  Me and the boys came early to practice again. I really don't know why because I all we do is get are ass cold. But we were talking when we saw a dark figure running.

  Just like yesterday, I was confused because this would be the second time they would pass us. I didn't know who it was but I was interested in who the fuck is at school at 5:23.

  After a short while everyone came and we started practice. When we were done with practice I remembered that we were invited to a volleyball game. I really wanted to go and watch because well I wanted to.

   I ran up to the boys that were in the locker room. I saw them sitting on a bench just talking. I was gonna ask if we were going to the game.

K- hi guys
M- what's up
K- I was just wondering if we are going to the volleyball game.
Ale- yeah we're going
K- oh ok
Ale- why are you asking
K- no reason
M-Sure, I'm guessing he just wants to see his crush
Ale- agreed
K- whatever

Allison's pov

  After I left practice I went home and just chilled until I had to go to school. Then I got a call from Avani.

A- hi
Ava- hi so After the game me,you, and Addison are going to the mall
A- ok
Ava- ok, byee see you soon
A- bye

  I hung up and just continued with what I was doing.

~ game time ~

  I grabbed everything I need and went a couple minutes before the game. When I got to the gym everyone was already there. I went to the locker and changed and put my hair up.

   We all stretched and got ready. Then we got in our positions. Then the whistle blew and the game started.

Kairi's pov

  Me and the boys started to run because we were running late to the game. When we got there I saw her, I saw the girl that I've been crushing on sense freshman year. Allison Y/l/n
, I've liked for a while it's just will we've never been close and don't talk to each other.

   When she invited the boys and me I was exited because I've been waiting for so long. I looked at the score 18-10 we were winning by 8 points. I was looking around for Allison when I spotted her.

   She had just picked up a ball. I could tell that she had a lot of bruises on her arm. I guess she gets hurt sometimes while playing.

~ during the game ~

While they were playing the game both Allison and another team member went for the ball at the same time. Luckily they picked up the ball, but Allison didn't get up she just laid there.

Then the game stopped and her team members rushed over to her. A doctor came and a guy who I guess is the team manager picked her up. When they laid her on the bed thing the doctor checked on her.

Then I heard sirenas and other paramedics came and took her away. I was really worried because it looked like when she hit her team mate it hurt.

Avani's pov

When we got to the hospital the paramedics took Allison to a room. I noticed that a lot of doctors and nurse where coming in and out. A nurse walked over to me and Addison and asked us questions.

After we answered all the questions the nurse finally left. I was worried because only a few people know this but Allison was always a sick kid. When we where younger she would always be at the hospital.

My mom would tell it was because she didn't feel will. And when I grew up I knew what she meant by that. Allison was diagnosed with heart failure which is a chronic condition in which the heart doesn't pump blood as well as it should.

That's why she would always look on the hopeful side in things. And why she would always want to try new things. Like when in middle school when volleyball has tryouts she made Addison and me to join with her.
   
But after we started high school I joined the news article for the school. Addison and Allison kept on playing volleyball together. At first I thought they would forget about me but they didn't. Even if I didn't play they would invite me to the sleepovers and games.
