Over the past couple days, Yoongi and Hoseok have been getting closer and getting to know each other.
They would sometimes meet up after school and just talk for hours about anything and everything.
Hoseok was walking to his now favorite class, his Math class. He's always excited for that class, it may or may not have something to do with a certain mint head.
He enters the classroom, taking his usual seat next to Yoongi. All of them greeting him as he does so. The teacher walks in the classroom and starts teaching.
For once, Yoongi and the rest are paying attention and taking notes, since she said everything she's saying will be on the test.
Yoongi feels a tap on his shoulder, he turns around to see Hoseok leaning into him, wanting to whisper something. Yoongi leans in, faces now inches apart. A faint blush spreading across Yoongi's pale cheeks. They stare at each other for what seems like forever, admiring each other's features.
When finally Hoseok asks, "Hey um, do you have a pen I can borrow?" Yoongi snaps out of the trance Hoseok just put him in. "Uh yeah I think I do," He stutteres out, while looking through his bag. After a couple of seconds, Yoongi pulls out a pen and hands it to Hoseok. "Thanks," he says. As Hoseok takes the pen from Yoongi, their fingers touch, sending shivers down both their spines.
A minute or two later, Jin turns around to Yoongi. "Hey Yoongi, do you have a pen?" Jin asks in a hushed voice so he doesn't disturb others. "No" Yoongi deadpans, not even sparing the older a glance. "I literally just saw you give one to Hoseok," Jin says dumbfounded. "Ok and? doesn't mean I have another one, Yoongi says looking up at Jin. Jin just turns around and mutters with a small smile "someone's picking favorites".

The bell rings, signaling it's time for lunch. They all get up and pack up their stuff, just as Hoseok was gonna start walking he hears Jin call out to him, "Hey Hoseok,"
"Yeah, what's up?" He turns to face Jin. "Do you wanna sit with us for lunch?" Jin asks. "yeah sure, but can my friends join?" Hoseok responds. "Oh yeah of course," Jin says enthusiastically
"Who are your friends?" Taehyung asks from behind them. "Jungkook and Namjoon," Hoseok informs.
Jimin choking on his water and Jin's eyes wide.
"Those are your friends?" Taehyung asks laughing. "Yeah why?" Hoseok asks with a confused tone, tilting his head slightly. "Well because these two," Taehyung starts, pointing at Jimin and Jin. "Have crushes on them"
"Ya! That was supposed to be a secret," Jin says while smacking him in the arm. Taehyung still dying of laughter. While Jimin's face turns a dark shade of pink. "Well whatever, let's go, I'm hungry" Yoongi says walking towards the door, the rest following.
They're walking and talking, nothing out of the ordinary, when suddenly they hear someone say "Ah shit" followed by a thud.
Hoseok turns around to find Jimin on the floor. "Oh damn, Jimin you good?" Yoongi asks, while Taehyung helps him up. "Yeah no I'm good, me and the floor are really good friends," Jimin says while brushing off his clothes, making the others laugh at his statement.
The 5 of them make their way to the cafeteria. As they walk in, heads start turning to look at them. Hoseok feeling a little insecure, but keeps walking. Most people drooling over them, boys and girls.
They sit at a table, some people wondering why Hoseok is sitting with them, others not caring, but let it go, because they think he's a good addition to the group.
Everyone turns back around focusing on what they're doing. Hoseok looks around, trying to find his friends, when he finally sees them enter the cafeteria. They make eye contact and Hoseok waves them over to the table. As Jungkook and Namjoon are making their way towards their table, Jin and Jimin are slightly panicking and fidgeting.
"You guys need to calm down," Taehyung says trying to hold back a laugh.
Jungkook and Namjoon take a seat at their table saying Hi to Hoseok and the others. Hoseok introduces his best friends to his newly made friends, even though some of them already know each other.
They all start talking and engaging in their own conversations, Namjoon and Jin talking, obviously flirting. Jimin and Jungkook laughing their asses off.
Taehyung being a hoe talking to 3 different girls, and Yoongi and Hoseok deep into their conversation.
Until Jin asks,"You guys wanna hear a joke?"
"NO!" Jimin, Taehyung, and Yoongi exclaim in unison.
"Well why not?" Hoseok asks a bit confused. "You'll see why," Yoongi says sighing.
"Ok so what is it when a cow laughs?" Jin says, stifling a laugh.
"Moo-ha ha ha," Jin says with the infamous windshield wiper laugh.
Namjoon started laughing along with Jin, Jimin and Taehyung shaking their heads and sighing. Hoseok and Jungkook smiling, and Yoongi just rolling his eyes. They all just brush it away and turn back to their conversations.
"You should come to this party, Friday," Yoongi says to Hoseok. "Um, I don't know, me and parties don't really go well together," Hoseok says, rubbing the back of his neck a little. "Oh come on, it'll be fun, you and your friends can come," Yoongi says with a little smile. "Alright sure, I'll let them know," Hoseok says. "Ok awesome, I'll send you the details later,"
They keep talking and having a good time, until they have to go to their next classes. They say goodbye to each other, and go their separate ways.
