IT WAS ABOUT TEN IN THE MORNING when Justine got finished dressing up for work. Looking around, she just realized that she forgot to bring her bag with her to the living room for when she was about to leave. Jill came back to the apartment. She was gone for almost a whole day or two. She was wearing a blue tank top with a black tube top underneath and black jeans and her combat boots. There were bags under her eyes and she looked sickly pale.

"Jill, what the hell happened to you?" Justine asked as she walked up to her older sister, a frown etched on my face. Before Justine could get close to her, Jill holds her arm up and tells her little sister to stay away from her. It sounded almost like a cry.

She sounded scared, "Don't! Don't come any closer! Please!"

"All right," Justine says as the younger sibling slowly backed away from Jill. "What happened to you?" Justine asked calmly.

"It's... It's complicated. I need to... I need to-" She doesn't continue what she was going to say and just barges in the bathroom and shuts the door, locking it.

Justine went to the door and knocked on it, "Jill? You're scaring me. What's going on? C'mon, talk to me!"

"You need to leave!" Jill says and the younger sister stared at the door, shocked at what her sister had told her.

Justine was confused, "What? Jill, I don't understand why you're acting like this and you're scaring me. Please, get out of the bathroom and talk to me."

Justine then hears her sigh from the other side of the door, "Fine. But promise me you won't get close to me!"

Justine couldn't help but sigh as well, agreeing with what Jill wanted. "Fine. I promise I won't. Now can you please open the door so we can talk?"

Jill opens the door, and her eyes were teary and red. "I got suspended."

"What? Why?" Is that why she was so upset? Why didn't she just tell me? But why wouldn't she want me to get close to her?

"I just got back from my mission at the Arklay mountains... it's another story for another time why we were sent there but... there was something on those mountains... there was a mansion there."

"What? How is that... how is that possible I thought the Arklay Mountains were a protected area?"

Jill shakes her head, "I-I don't know either I'm just as confused as you are. But it's not just that... there was something awful in those mansions. Do you remember the news two days ago?"

"...I don't really remember, Jill, can you just tell me what was there?" Justine could tell Jill was freaking out. Whatever was in that place must be so horrible because Justine has never seen her like this before; eyes going side-to-side, fidgeting with her thumbs.

"Zombies!" She blurts out. "There were zombies there, and they killed Bravo team. And Wesker, he... he..." Jill was sobbing, Justine wanted to get closer to her and comfort her but Jill would step away from her.

She shakes her head, "No! No! You can't get close to me, whatever was on there I could've probably caught it and I can't let you get sick. I'm sorry." An idea popped in Justine's head, making her quickly rush to her room, went to her bag and pulled out a pair of surgical gloves from my glove box, and put them on. She stepped out of her bedroom and went to the door of the bathroom. Jill's eyes landed on Justine's gloved hands as she sniffed. Justine kept at a good amount of distance from her sister and held her hand. Jill sniffs and smiles at the Justine and the younger one returns the smile to her.

"I'm always here for you," Justine tells her, "We're sisters, remember?"

She nods, wiping her cheeks with the back of her hand. "Chris and I wanted to file a case against Umbrella, but the chief just shrugged us off and suspended us. I can't leave the house the chief put me under twenty-four-hour surveillance." There were so many questions going in Justine's head; about Doctor Wesker, Umbrella, the mansion, but she didn't want to press on the topic. She needs to sleep. She badly needs to rest.

"All right, it's been a long day. You should sleep, you look sick. I'll head to work, all right? If you need me just call." Jill nods and Justine moves out of the doorway, keeping her distance from her sister as she walked out of the bathroom and to her room. Justine went back to her room and removed the gloves and threw them in the bin. She zipped her bag up and slung the strap over her shoulders.

Justine steps out of the apartment and made my way to work, hoping that she could stay focused on what she needed to do at the lab. Considering that she had to work with a creep, she told herself that she has to do my work as well as she possibly can so he wouldn't bother her to 'help her.'
