Nostradamus jolted out of his sleep, for he was able to see what no one else could. He could see the future.
He stared up at the sealing breathing rapidly as he managed to let out two words.
"she's coming."
Mary let out a 'humph' as she kicked the soccer ball made out of leather stuff with
straw. She was surrounded by nuns and children of all different ages. She heard the call
of one of the nuns, signaling it was lunch time. Mary and the other girls all flocked
toward the table excited to finally have their long awaited meal. As the oatmeal was
being served she watched as one of the nuns ate a spoonful. The nun then started to
turn her head toward Mary. She had a worried look in her eyes, all of a sudden foam
started to pour out off her mouth, blood coming out of her ears and trickling down her
neck. A little girl no older then eight let out a shrill scream next to Mary.
"Get that plate away!" yelled one of the nuns a she rushed toward Mary taking her
away from the scene. "This was an assassination attempt you were nearly poisoned,
we have to get you out of hear immediately." Said the nun. "Poor sister Helen I didn't
know!", "That she was your taster? Mary, you are the Queen of Scotland, every meal
you have had has been tasted since you left you mothers breast!".
I exited the room after I changed, for I was going to French court to meet my fiancé, the
future king of France. "I don't know if I'm ready." I said to the nun, who'm I had
befriended over the years. "To leave here or marry the future king of France?" "Both, I
hoped I would get to go back to Scotland one last time." I said. "Girls you have known
your whole life will be there, your safer in French court." I then kissed her on the cheek
and turned toward the carriage that awaited me.
Just before I could get on. I was greeted by a voice I knew very well. It was a little girl
named Rose. "Mary be carful at the castle. I heard that there are ghosts there, tortured
souls a girl who's face is ruined. She hides it." Said Rose. "I've been at French court
before you know. When I was about your age, I didn't see any ghosts."
"But what if they saw you..." I looked at Rose in astonishment and then turned back
toward the carriage. Right before I stepped in, I turned my head to get one last glimpse
of the place I had called home for the past 8 years.
