I woke up looking at the time which was in blurry red numbers. I put on my black framed proscription glasses that laid on my night stand. The clock read 6:45 a.m..
"Wow I actually woke up early today." I said to myself. I was indecisive either to go back to sleep or to just get ready. I decided to just get ready since I was already awake anyway. I turned my Bluetooth on my phone so that'll hook up to my black beats pill. I stretched my arms as I yawned, getting up and walking towards my closet. Sliding the door open, I ran my hands through the clothing that was hung. I hummed as The Weekend played through the pill. I picked out my white, flowy, vneck from urban outfitters, my ripped black jeans, and my black matte Doc Martins. It was a little sunny so I decided to leave my leather jacket at home. I went to the bathroom by my room trying to hurry up before the guys woke up. I brushed my teeth, then straightened my Kylie Jenner inspired short hair (without the blue dye), put on my contacts which took me a few minutes since I was still kinda sleepy, and did my eye makeup which was simple eyeliner and mascara. I grabbed my phone to check the time, 7:10. I walked downstairs yelling, "Get up you've got 20 minutes!". I made myself a bagel and ate some cereal since I was still hungry. I ran up the stairs grabbed bag and ran down to the car. Turning on the car Tyler opened the passenger seat with Lucas, Travis, and Jasper falling behind. I focused on the road trying to keep my mind off of jack and how it's going to be today after what happened.

"So what happened to you and Jack?" Jasper asked breaking the silence.

"What do you mean?" I asked playing dumb.

"I heard you and jack talking it was pretty loud, the whole house heard." He looked at Tyler and Travis as they nodded their heads.

"Nothing, he was just being an ass." I rolled my eyes as I grabbed the wheel.

"Oh, so are you guys still together?" Jasper asked stupidly. Tyler hit him from the front seat.

"You're fucking stupid." He yelled at him as he slapped his face.

"What?!" Jasper was clueless as usual as he rubbed his cheek.

"We were never together." I shrugged.

"Oh." The car grew silent again as I parked the car.

It was 3rd period, history. I was sitting in my desk tracing the carvings in the desk with my pencil. The teacher talked and talked as I doodled in my notebook. I looked around scanning the room and my eyes landed on Jack's empty seat. "Really?" I rolled my eyes as I let out a dry laugh. The bell rang shortly after Mr. Collins reminded us about our assignment. I walked out quickly to the parking lot as the halls filled for lunch. I stood by my car as I lit my cigarette. I blew out the smoke as I stared out into the streets thinking about Jack and where he was.

"Mind if I join you?" A tall guy with brown curly hair that was shaped into a messy quiff that wore a gray hoodie, jeans that sagged a little below his waist, and diamond earrings came up behind me. I turned around eyeing him up and down then turned back around. He ignored my unwelcoming gesture and stood leaning by the handicap sign that I was sitting by. I continued taking a drag of my cigarette as I pulled my hair back into a messy top knot.

"Fuck." The guy mumbled as he searched for something in his pocket.

"Do you have a lighter I must have left mine in my locker." He asked patting his pockets. I took my lighter out of my purse and tossed it to him. He lit his cigarette taking a drag and blowing the smoke before giving the lighter back to me.

"Thanks." He tossed it to me. I nodded looking down at my phone to see the time.

"You don't talk much do you?" He asked looking out at the empty street filled with 1 or 2 cars that'll occasionally pass by. I continued starring at the gate wanting to leave.
