The next day at school dragged on for Taeyong, a constant unease settling in his stomach. Doyoung's absence loomed over every class, a conspicuous void that echoed the unresolved tension between them. Taeyong's worry intensified with each passing hour, the struggle within him manifesting in the furrowed lines on his forehead. Determined to find answers, Taeyong sought out Doyoung's friend group during the lunch break. YooA, Ten, Seulgi, Mina, and Lisa sat together under the shade of a tree, their animated chatter fading into hushed tones as Taeyong approached. The dynamics of their group, once a source of comfort, now held the weight of shared concern.

"Hey, guys," Taeyong greeted, his voice tinged with a mix of apprehension and urgency. "Have any of you heard from Doyoung? I'm really worried about him, and he hasn't been at school for two days now."

Seulgi looked up, her expression mirroring Taeyong's concern. "No, we haven't. We tried reaching out, but he's not responding to messages. He's been going through a tough time lately, and we're all worried about him."

Taeyong's heart sank at the confirmation of Doyoung's continued silence. The struggle within him heightened a sense of helplessness overshadowing his desire to mend their fractured friendship.

Lisa, always the direct one, leaned forward with a scrutinizing gaze. "Taeyong, come on. You know something, don't you? What happened between you and Doyoung?"

Taeyong hesitated, the weight of Lisa's question pressing on him. His friends exchanged glances, sensing the emotional turmoil that gripped him.

"Taeyong, we're just trying to help. If there's something going on, we want to know," Mina added, her voice gentle yet insistent.

The struggle within Taeyong intensified, a silent battle between the desire to confide in his friends and the fear of exposing the vulnerability within him. The truth remained elusive, and he felt caught in the crossfire of his own emotions.

"I don't know," Taeyong finally admitted, his voice barely above a whisper. "Things got complicated between us, and now he's not talking to me. I went to his house, and his mom said he's not feeling well."

Lisa leaned back, her expression softening as she processed Taeyong's revelation. "Taeyong, it's okay to feel confused. Maybe talking about it will help."
