Adan was sad, but she had to be strong. She was a mother now, and if she was weak, she couldnt take care of Ada and Ace. Today was the worst day of her life, the day she said goodbye to her friend for just awhile. She found her white dress in her closet and gave it a long looking at, it was long sleeved with a lace trim around its scoop line and the off shoulder sleeves. It was made of beautiful lace print materieal, the waist line was pointed in the front and lined with pearl trim, The skirt of the dress was a white satin material, it was long enough hat it dragged on the ground as she walked the last time she wore it. Kaish loved it when Adan wore it to her aunts wedding. Adan looked beautiful in it. After starring at the dress a long while she took it from her closet and layed it on her bed. She put on a slip and then did her hair and makeup. Her hair was down and she made it wavy, she put some twist crystals in her hair to make it look pretty. She slipped into her dress, smoothed it out and gave herself a long starring at in the mirror. Her lashes were long and black, her lips rose red, her skin light and fair, and her eyes stuck out, a blueish color that changed with every different angle she looked. She was beautiful. Adan put her pearl earings in and put her white choker on with a dangaling saphire stone that Kaish had given her on her 15th birthday. She put a few of her stirling silver friendship rings on and  then slipped her white short heeled shoes on. She opened her bedroom door and walked out to see her parents holding the twins, her dad wore his wedding tuxedoe and her mom wore a pretty victorian black dress like Adans but it was black and it was a sweetheart line with short sleeves. Ada was wearing a pretty black dress with white lace sleeves, Ace wore a baby sized tuxedoe. Adan tried to hold back but a tear rolled down her face, she looked at her mom who came over and hugged her.

"I know sweetie, it sucks."

"Why, why did it have to be Kaish, why even someone I cared about, I hate Chase."

Her dad came over and put his hand on her shoulder.

"Things happen sweetie, this was just Gods way of saying he wanted Kaish as an Angel. By taking Kaish he gave two new wonderful lifes to remind us how wonderful she was. Those two wonderful lifes, there yours now and you have to give them the best life you can. Not me and not your mother, YOU."

She hugged her dad, she knew her dad was right. The family headed downstairs grabbed their coats and headed outside. The sky was gray and cloudy, the day was glum. One of their neighbors was outside washing his driveway.

"Where would you folks be off to, and where did those two little ones come from?"

"Were headed to a funeral Mr: Osborn, for our daughters friend."

"Wich of your friends Adan, don't tell me it was that little blonde girl now. I think everyone liked her."

"It's for her... she died givving birth to Ada and Ace. These two little ones."

"Well why do you have them, they should be in an adoption home, or with their grandparents at least?"

"Because I promised her that I would take care of them and I can't do that if their in an adoption home or with their grandparents now can I?!"

"No I.... I guess you can't. Thats a sad thing she died. Tell her i said hello and goodbye, I'll be praying for you all especially you Adan, you can count on that. Well you folks have a nice day, as nice as you can."

"Thank you Mr: Osborn...come on Adan put your babbies in their seats."

Her mother opend the car doors for her on both sides so she can put Ada and Ace in their carseats. She straped herself in and closed the door. Off they went to the funeral. The whole time they spent driving Adan starred out her window holding back tears, she looked to the back seat wear Ace and Ada were sleeping in their seats. Ada looked so much like her mother, sadly though Ace looked just like his father, Chase. Next to Adan layed a bouqet of roses, white roses they Kaish's favorite. Adan had gone to Kaish's parents house and grabed the pearl necklace that she had given Kaish for her 16th birthday just a few weeks ago and wrapped it around the prettiest rose.  Adan read over the passage she picked to read and her own little letter for her friend. Finally they were there, at the church where the greeving would happen. Then they would have another 2 hour drive to get to the burrial place. Adan was asked to speak first so thats just what she did.

"God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.  Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea,  though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging. "Kaish"  There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy place where the Most High dwells.  God is within her, she will not fall; God will help her at break of day.  Nations are in uproar, kingdoms fall; he lifts his voice, the earth melts.  The LORD Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress. "Kaish"  Come and see the works of the LORD, the desolations he has brought on the earth.  He makes wars cease to the ends of the earth; he breaks the bow and shatters the spear, he burns the shields with fire.  "Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted."

Adan did her best to hold back her tears but, her sorrow and grief was too strong, she cried infront of everyone who knew her best firend. On the outside she was strong, but on the inside she wished she could do her whole life over again. She wished that shed never been born and Kaish would live without knowing her or Chase.  She was temted to commit suiside but what stopped her from anything bad, was her promise to Kaish. She couldnt break it, she just had to keep this promise.
