It was a cold September day. Emma had to start a whole new life. A new school. New friends. New teachers. New life.
She was downstairs, eating breakfast. She kept thinking about the new life she was gonna start. The kitchen was painted in a nice pink while the celing was a navy blue. Rainbow cereals were drowning in the white milk. Her glasses almost fell off her nose when her phone started ringing. It was a group videocall with Betty and Hannah.
"Hey girls!", Hannah yeled in excitement. "Can't wait to see the new school!" She continued, still hyped. "Same! Like I really wanna make new friends!" Betty said, just as hyped as Hannah. "Yeah... Me too" Emma said in a dry tone, starting to think of the old school, the old friends. "Girls... Gotta go. It's already 7:45 AM and I don't wanna be late."
Emma hung up the call, getting her schoolbag. "Bye mom, bye dad!" She said, reaching for the doorknob, with a tear on her left eye. She closed the door, and that tear started running on her face.Emma opened the classroom door, getting in, with a weird, shy, look on her face. She spotted her two best friends, Hannah and Betty, who were shaking their hands in the air, letting Emma know that she shoud sit next to them. Emma ran to the empty seat that was in between her friends.
Before she could say anything, the chemistry teacher walked in. He had a fluffy looking brunette hair, a nice face and blue eyes. He looked pretty nice, but Hannah gave her friends a weird worried look.
"Hello class! For the ones who don't know who I am, I'm mr. Hatcher, your chemistry teacher." mr. Hatcher sayd in a soft tone. When he mentioned about 'the ones who don't know who he is' he gave the three girls a weirdly nice look."I'm pretty sure you have noticed that there are three new students. Please come and introduce yourselves." He continued, still looking at the three girls. They got up and walked in front of the classroom. Emma got her purple, dyed, hair off her face, blushing. Maybe she looked like a rebel, but she was a soft, shy, girl. Hannah, on the otherwise, looked like a innocent soft girl, but was a rebel. Betty was actually in between. They introduced themselves. "Hope we will get along easy!" Mr. Hatcher said. "Now plese open the books at page 5 and start reading."
After the class ended, the girls were together, talking, in recess. Emma let out a hard sigh. "How do you think we will do in this high school? Do you think we'll make any friends? Do you think we wikl be as popular as in the old school? Do yo-" She was cut off by Betty. "Girl, stop worrying! It'll be alright." Betty said, trying to calm Emma down. "Yeah... you're right... I should stop worrying." Emma shouted back. "That's my girl!" Hannah said, putting a hand on Emma's shoulder.
"I think I have an idea of how to make some friends!" Hannah said, afer a while, looking at Emma's tattoos. "Remember that my dad has that tattoo thing? WE CAN MAKE TATOOS IN HIGH SCHOOL!" Hannah yelled, making the girls cover their ears. "That's actually a good idea" Emma said, being proud of her friend. "Well... If you say so... let's do this!" Betty yelled, but not as loud as Hannah did earlier. The bell ringed and the girls entered the school, going upstairs, very proud of themselfes.
