The Tale of the Fallen Queen

Chapter Two

Traveling down the blood soaked path  slowly trotting it wasn't a long treck to make it too the closest city, two days in total to finally arrive entering the bustling city of Vion, Verena looks around softly frowning her boots scuffing the dirt, she smelt and looked awful, guards shot her off looks as she made her way twords the closest inn entering with purpose she approached the counter, behind it was an older Elvish Male eyeing her with disgust and curiosity

"How can i help ye"

Shifting on her feet she gazed at him

"I would like a room for the night, and a map of the city if you have one sir"

"Of course, and how wi-"

Before the elf could finish his sentence Verena slid over three gold coins, paying for three nights she took the key heading up the steps to her room, she needed to get clothes, other then this horrid blood soaked armor, upon entering she discarded the gross bloodied armor she entered the bathroom letting out a small sigh she turned on the magical tap of the large brass bath which was enchanted to keep the bath warm for longer periods of time once it was filled to her liking she slipped into the warm water sinking into it the water reached her chin the clear water slowly tinted Red from the dried blood on her flesh she slowly cleaned her self, this took an hour before she felt clean enough to rise from the bath drying herself with one of the inn's fluffy towels before changing into some of the clothes they had in the small closet.

She softly sighed sinking onto the plush bed she slowly laid back onto the sheets

"I'll need to purchase new commoner clothes"

She muttered softly to herself as she streched out crawling to the top she rested her head on the pillows shutting her eyes slowly as she relaxed a soft contempt sigh escaping her rose lips, she slowly drifted off to sleep relaxing into the pushiness and comfort of a real bed... somthing she hasn't experienced in quite a while.
