Chapter One: Stupid

Jihye's POV

"Good morning Yina!" I grabbed her blanket and I can see how annoyed she is. She hates to wake up early but what can I do, I don't want to be late on the first day of classes and in fact she's too slow from taking a bath and changing her clothes.

"It's like 5AM! Our class starts at 8am!" She shouted and covered her face with her blanket. What a lazy ass, it's 5:50 am already. Yina is my childhood best friend and we always choose the same school and always rent a dorm. I just prepared my things and took a bath. I'm wearing a checkered pants paired with black fitted turtle neck top with medium length sleeves and a vans sneakers, I also put on some gold necklace to add some details.

I cooked our breakfast, it's just an omelette and fried rice, I love eating rice for my breakfast. "Wow, look at your eyes" Yina said while putting the plates on the table. "I stayed up late, I don't know I just can't sleep" I laughed and sat beside her to start eating. We just talked and we didn't even noticed the time!

"Oh no! We gotta hurry!!" Yina said while grabbing my arms and running. This girl really loves to run, I can't. "Ya! This is why I told you to wake up early! You didn't even bother listening to me!" I looked at her and rolled my eyes, if only she could just practice to be faster ugh, this always happens!

We arrived at school and it's almost 8:00 AM, we checked which class are we and entered our rooms. Sadly, I'm in class 1 and Yina's in class 2. Now I'm getting nervous. I was holding my notebook on my right hand but suddenly someone bumped into me and I dropped it.

"Are you blind?" a guy wearing a black hoodie and cargo pants with chunky sneakers on suddenly asked me, judging his face well, he looks handsome and his lips are kinda cute but he looks intimidating. "You are the one who bumped into me!" I yelled and grabbed my notebook. I was about to walk but he suddenly grabbed my wrist. "Wow, don't you know how to say sorry?" he asked while lifting one of his brows, what is his problem?! I'm just gonna say sorry so this will be over. "Sorry" I said and walked towards my room. "Stupid!" he yelled.

What the heck is his problem?!

I'm 10 minutes late for my first subject but thanks God our teacher hasn't arrived yet. I was just busy doodling something, when a guy suddenly sat beside me. I didn't bother to look, I knew from his perfume that he's a guy, he smells good tho.

"Good morning class 1, I'm Mr. Seo Jaehyun. I will be your class adviser for this school year" the teacher introduced himself first and we also introduced one by one. The guy beside me stand up and introduced himself, "I'm Choi Yeonjun" I looked up and stares at him until I realized he was the one who called me stupid earlier! Shit! I didn't even noticed!

"Stupid, It's your turn" he sat beside me and grabbed my pen. I didn't even realized I was staring at him until now! This is so embarrassing. I hate this school year already.

"Good morning, I'm Park Jihye. Nice to meet you all" I said calmly while still thinking about what happened. He called me stupid for the 2nd time!

"Ya! I'm Jihye, don't call me stupid anymore" I told him and grabbed my pen back. "I heard you, stupid." he put on his airpods and started to stare on the board. He is here to study right? Why would he listen to music? "Whatever" I muttered and began to pay attention to the class. "I can hear you, stupid" he said and laughed a little.

He is really getting into my nerves. The morning classes ended and I started walking to the cafeteria and waited for Yina. I'm in a bad mood because that Choi guy really makes me wanna lose all my patience.
