Confidence,
What a simple word with simple definition
For such a difficult task to achieve.
For when I look in the mirror no love is received.
Can't even speak publicly at least.
My body terrified of a feast
Thus the mirror reflecting a beast
It was like everyone was west and I was East
For how can I love a being
When the love for myself is fleeing
And what is stopping me from seeing how inadequate this is for my wellbeing.
