chapter fifteen — as my boufriend

the seven of them went to separate cars— jeno and dahye together in his. jisu and jeno's parents in theirs and dahye's parents in their too.
"that felt like introducing my fiancé to my family"
jeno laughed, looking at the road and following his parents' car in front.
"jeno, i swear"
dahye sighed and slapped her forehead, smiling like an idiot.
"yeah it's fine that will happen in three to four years anyway"
he shrugged with a smirk.
"lee jeno"
she groaned and looked out the window and heard jeno laughing beside her.

"jeno!"
dahye shot up as realization hit her.
"what?!"
jeno exclaimed shocked, good thing he didn't hit the car in front of him.
"we haven't told our friends were back together yet"
"right, let's just let the figure out by themselves"
jeno smirked and wiggled his eyebrows.
"you know they'll figure it out in a snap"
dahye replied and they both laughed.

they soon arrived in front of the cemetery and saw dahye's and jeno's parents along with jisu, walk out and waited for the two. dahye was about to open the door when jeno said,
"stay here"
he opened his door and jogged to dahye's side, opening the door for her and grabbing her hand. he then locked his car doors and walked with dahye behind him following closely.
"how cute, what kdrama is this? extraordinary you?"
jeno's mom commented, making everyone else laugh.

they walked to one specific grave and sat by it.
"i miss you dong dong"
dahye sniffed and smiled at the nickname. she felt a hand on her shoulder and saw jeno sitting next to her, pouring flowers along with the others.
"remember the boy i told you about four years ago? well, here he is as my boyfriend"
dahye said and looked up at jeno who was smiling.
"i'll take care of dahye, don't worry"
he said when suddenly, a flower fell on jeno's head as if donghye was giving a sign that he was listening.

they left the cemetery after a while and got back to their cars.
"is it fine if i take dahye on a little date?"
jeno asked dahye's parents for permission.
"of course, have fun lovebirds"
they all waved as jeno and dahye made their way back to his car.
"can i join them?!"
jisu exclaimed while jumping around.
