A resolution? But... To what?

I awoke with the feeling of someone's arms around. Normally I would jump up and choke slam whoever touched me, but I knew whose hands were caressing my growing belly. "Morning," he mumbled in my ear. His voice sent a shiver down my body as my cheeks turned red. "Good morning you Alien," I said as I turned around to face him. "How are you feeling." I ran my fingers down his perfect jawline, wondering how someone so handsome can exist. "I'm doing really well, even better now that I'm here with you." He smiled. "And how is our baby?" I always felt so ecstatic whenever he said 'our baby.' "She's happy to be with her Dad." "She?" Said Takami confused and surprised. "I think it's a girl." He pulled me in closer to him, so that my head was pressing into his shoulder.
     "No, it's definitely going to be a boy." I giggled. "Whatever you say mister." While we were snuggling happily one of the maids walked in, and yelped. "I'm so sorry to interrupt! Breakfast is prepared for you Mister and Miss." She quickly ran out and closed the door. Takami and I both looked at each other, annoyed from the sudden intrusion, and got out of bed. Clothes had already been set out for us in the closet, so I put on a cute blue dress and flats. I hated wearing this kind of stuff, but it was clear that when inside the castle there was a dress code.
    Takami was still buttoning his shirt as I opened the large double doors into the hallway. There was a maid standing outside, waiting for me. She looked at me with big doe like eyes that were a deep ocean blue. Her eyes held a sense of sadness, which I thought was quite odd. As I ventured towards the stairway the maid offered her arm to me to hold. I waved my hand around, declining, but she persisted. I eventually grabbed onto her arm, with my other hand on the railing. My baby bump was cutely sticking out from the blue tea dress. I suppose now that I'm with a child I will have to be more careful.
    As we reached the bottom of the staircase I looked back up, and wondered what was taking Takami so long. I opened my mouth to call out his name but the maid grabbed my hand and walked me towards the dining room. My eyes widened in shock. I had never seen this amount of food in my life. Scones, sandwiches, tea cakes, and even fruit arranged in beautiful boutiques. Takumi's mother's cousin was sitting at the end of the table, sipping her morning tea. A maid showed me to my seat, and helped sit me down. Even though I needed no such help. I stared at her tense face, trying for so long to understand what she was thinking. But it was no use, I simply could not read that woman. Oh how I wish Takumi was here to end this awkward silence.

    Speaking of Takami, what is taking him so long? Oh how I wish that I could speak English! Then I could just speak to this woman in front of me and ask her! But alas, I don't. So I chose the next best option. Stuffing my face with food! To end this awkward silence I gorged on food, and the best part is that no one can judge me now because I'm eating for two! I inhaled virtually everything in front of me, and realized how hungry I must had been. I continued to feed until I looked over at Mrs. Walker and noticed her shocked face. Her eyes were wide open and her jaw was almost about to hit the floor. But to make matters worse, I looked behind me only to see the strange alien face of Usui.
He smiled widely and laughed, then sat down beside me. Before I could manage the wipe the embarrassment off of my face he planted a soft kiss on my cheek. My cheeks began to burn a bright red color and I started to feel hot, so I drank some water. Then Mrs. Walter began speaking with Usui. "So, Takumi, were you and Mr. Walker able to have a conversation?" "Yes, we were. Thank you for asking," said Usui. I looked back and forth, then at the maid that spoke Japanese to me yesterday, hoping by some chance she could translate.
"So... Was there any resolution?" Usui face changed as his eyes grew cold and he stared at her with strength. "No. There was not."
