A Smile
Some people ask the world what it has to offer them. Me? Well I just want one thing....you see I've been let down so many times in the past where it's just become a regular thing in my life. No one asks what's wrong because in their eyes I'm just a happy-go-lucky person. People ask the world why? Why doesn't the world notice them? Why doesn't the world speak back? Why doesn't the world hear them? Here is the answer....you never tried. You never let the world hear you. You never spoke loud enough for anyone to hear you let alone the world. Sometimes it's easier to just mumble things to yourself but let's face it,things don't just come to you like that. This world we have,it doesn't offer you the things you want just because you asked. You have to work hard to get it. Why? Why is this all necessary? Do I really have to speak up? Do I have to yell it out? Do I have to sing? Do I have to play something? What? Tell me what I have to do! What do I do? I sit here in my own pain. What!? Just let it out. Anything you do is fine. It's just up to you. What do you mean? Well that's easy,just do something to make a change. Do something to show the world you're trying. Do something to make yourself happy. Just do it. It's easy,all you have to do is try. Once you get the hang of it,you'll have no more questions just answers. Why are you telling me this? Simple,I just want to make a change. I want the world to notice me. I want people to thank me for changing them to become what they truly are and that brings me happiness. I want people to smile because I did that. If I can make one sad person smile,or one person who gave up then I can make everyone smile. That's what I want from this world....a smile.
