Chasing Dreams With You (Dream 1)

PROLOGUE

I can hear people chanting my name. I can hear happy cries from them. Lights are directly on me. The stage i am in is slowly rising. The sensitive microphone is in front of me. I still cannot believe it. This is a dream. A dream I've been striving for the past years.

"Zerene TG! Zerene TG! Zerene TG!" rinig sa buong arena ang mga ingay na nanggagaling sa mga taong nasa aking harapan. Hindi ako makapaniwala. Everything still feels surreal.

I closed my eyes as I listen to the instrumental. I can feel my eyes tearing up because of these. Hindi ko alam kung masakit o maganda sa pakiramdam ang aking nararamdaman. I sang my song wholeheartedly. This is for the people who made me today. Surrounding me. Wala ako kung wala sila.

I continued closing my eyes while singing. I felt nervous earlier, pero ngayon halos wala akong nararamdaman. I am just so happy to be here. All my hardworks are payed off. Finally.

"Everything I do, is for you, I love you" I opened my eyes after singing the last lyrics. Tumulo ang luha galing sa aking mga mata. Hindi ko napigilang hindi umiyak. They clapped and cheered after I finished my song. I feel so overwhelmed sa rami ng tao. I smiled and waved. I went to the backstage to change another outfit for my performance later. I have 10 minutes break to retouch.

Umupo ako sa harap ng salamin. My stylists immediately retouched my hair and makeup. Nasira ng konti dahil umiyak ako sa stage kanina.

"Ang galing mo, Zerene. Isa ako sa mga taong sobrang proud sayo." Ari said habang naglalagay ng blush on sakin. Parang iiyak rin siya sa saya kagaya ko.

"Thank you, Ari. Hindi ko rin alam anong gagawin ko kung wala ka." I smiled at her. Siya ay Pilipina rin kagaya ko na nagtatarabaho sa South Korea. Napakasaya ko 'nong nakita ko siya. Hindi pa naman ako gaano kabilis magsalita ng salitang korean. She'd been living there for almost 10 years. She can speak fluently at it. That's why laking pasalamat ko talaga dahil dumating siya sa buhay ko.

I stared at myself at the mirror. I am wearing a purple formal dress with sequins over it. Wearing a light eye makeup with gradient pink lips. I look so beautiful. I look different. A lot different from before. I can't even recognize myself.

Nang matapos ma-retouch ang aking buhok at mukha, I immediately changed my clothes to shorts and brown leather jacket paired with brown boots. Kailangan ko to dahil sasayaw ako sa stage.

They also took care of my accessories. Mabilis din akong lumabas sa dressing room dahil babalik na ako sa stage. Todo powder pa si Ari sa aking mukha habang naglalakad.

When they called my song name, I went out to perform. I also have my backup dancers. I performed 3 songs. My dancers left me on stage. Uminom ako ng tubig dahil hinihingal ako sa sayaw habang kumakanta. I immediately jumped and waved to my fans.

"ANNEONGGGG!!!" I screamed. My smile grew bigger nang mas lumakas ang sigaw nila sa pangalan ko.

"HOW ARE YOU ALL? ARE YOU GUYS HAVING FUN?" I said with a big smile on my face. Sheez, I am so thankful for having them.

"So, today is the second day of my 'Dreams Do Come True' world tour!" They cheered! The lightsticks are like stars in my eyes. May banners and headbands din sila.

"Thank you so much for supporting me, I love you all so much! Music! 3, 2, 1!!" The music immediately turned on kaya kinanta at sinayaw ko naman ang aking mga kanta.

I was very energetic on stage, my fans are very loud. They are doing their chants perfectly. Sumasayaw sayaw at iwinagayway ang lightstick. Ang dami kong energy para mapasaya sila. They paid to see me. Kailangan kong galingan para sa kanila.
