It was nightfall by the time the storm blew over. The streets of Rose township were slightly flooded with little debris from trees and garbage. Petra decided to spend the night and went home to get some clothes. As for you, of course you had to stay and watch Levi, whose fever was starting to let up a little bit.
After that whole incident, you refused to look at him or even speak to him. Of course he was pissed off about it but he didn't let it show. He pretended not to care, which was a big mistake. He finished his second part of his experiment by seeing how you'd react if he did something that caught you by surprise, which was a big success. But the third and final step of his plan was interrupted by Petra. The third step would have concluded your feelings for him. Your acceptance of him. He was looking forward to tasting your lips. And hearing you moan his name as he kissed your flesh sent him over the edge. He was going to make you his right then and there, but because of Petra....You on the other hand was fuming.
'I can't believe that I stooped so low to him. I should've known that he was playing with me... Why else would he do all that. He probably wouldn't have done that if he hadn't heard me while I was in the shower.'
You were constantly wiping away at angry and embarrassed tears. He was toying with you. For some reason, it felt as if he didn't like you and he was definitely having fun with playing with your emotions. That has to be the cruelest thing to ever do to a person. Numerous times you paced back and forth, contemplating on whether you should tell him how you feel. But this was Levi you were thinking about. You put yourself in scenarios with him and played out scene after scene in your head. Each one, ending with you in tears with a broken heart and him leaving you to drown in the pain of your one sided love. You decided that you weren't going to tell him. And it was definite after he did what he did earlier.Levi was lying down on the bed in the guest bedroom. His right arm covering his eyes while the left rested across his bandaged chest that you took your sweet time wrapping carefully. He reminisced the feeling of your hands dancing across his back. He'd kill just to feel you scratch at it out of the pleasure he wanted to give you. How your fingertips would kiss his sides gently. He wanted to feel them glide across his chest. He was hungry for you. It pissed him off that you were avoiding him after Petra left. He wanted to make love to you so bad.
In his past, no one was able to ever make him fall head over heels. You were the very first girl to ever put him in the position that he's in. He's had numerous girlfriends and has had his experience. An experience that he regretted and wished that he would've saved. Just for you. He wanted to go back in time and stop himself from going on. To tell his past self to save it for his real love. But he couldn't, and back then he didn't believe in love. He didn't have hope nor faith. Why would he, when everything and everyone around him died? He was living a life that he had no choice to live. Until he met Erwin. That bastard recruited him on the coldest of days and he remembered it clearly.

Levi's P.O.V
It was cloudy and dark outside. I was walking through the empty streets of the slums. No one was outside. No prostitutes, no hobo's , no drug dealers. Just me. It seemed everyone had somewhere to go today. All warm and happy in some place warm and jubilant. Old and dirty Christmas lights hung carelessly about. 'Merry Christmas' was scribbled on the windows of the corner shops and cheap gas stations. Christmas... Of course. That's why no one was out. Everyone no matter how poor or rich had a place to call home and celebrate. Celebrate what!? The cold air bit at the tips of my ears and nose which was starting to get numb. I felt my gun slipping passed my belt. I should've taken Farlan's, for a spare. I only had one bullet.'Merry Christmas.... happy birthday.' I mentally acknowledged myself. No one else was gonna do it, so I might as well. The pale yellow lights colored the slums. A bunch of old farts filled up the bars and sung Christmas carols with whores. The soup kitchens were filled with the homeless. Hell the cemetery was even festive. It was painfully quiet, until I heard footsteps. I inched my head to the left slightly. Out of my peripheral vision, I managed to make out four people. All of which, was wearing green. If I pay them no attention maybe they'll leave me alone. The last thing I need is to be tracked all the way back to Farlan and Isabel. I sped up my pace and turned around an abandoned corner shop. It was just to see if they were following me. I peeked over my shoulder and one by one they turned the corner too. All of them quickening their steps. I turned my attention away from them and broke out into a sprint, running into the alley I leaped off of a trashcan and on latched myself onto the tall wired fence. I climbed over it and jumped down and ran towards another alley leading off towards the front entrance of the forest reserve. Slowing my pace, I looked over my shoulder to see if they were close behind. They stopped...maybe I took them a little too seriously. Turning away, I started making my way back to the corner shops, before I heard fast steps. It was all too late before I was knocked out of place. Acting on instinct, I snaked my right arm around the man and placed my left arm under him while gaining balance and flipped him on his back.
One...there should be three more. Just as I turned around I was met with a fist to the face. The unexpected impact of the punch knocked me down onto the side of the buliding.
