*Jin's POV*

Six Years Later

I loved work.

I never thought I would enjoy working in an office like setting, but I loved it. The projects, the paperwork, the debates, even the conferences. I liked it.

The parties were a plus too.

Let me catch you up to speed.

See, after my parents issue with Jungkook  had been completely ironed out, he had been allowed to live in our house for... well, for as long as he needed.

A surprise relationship had erupted between Yoongs and Jimin as they both got a job under the same company. It had seemed strange at first, but now, I don't think there ever was a cuter couple.

They were planning to get married in 6 months. Jungkook and I had been chosen to be their best men.

I mean... I guess you could say Jungkook and I are a pretty solid couple. We'd already spent enough time apart to know that we needed each other in our lives.

So, yeah. I guess we've grown up a little. So life's good for me right now.

I am a little miffed, for whatever reason, that Jimin got engaged before I did.

Jungkook's always talking about the engagement and wedding, but my finger's still bare.

Jungkook started renting an apartment about two years ago, so he wouldn't have to travel between the house and back to work as often. I've subtly managed to move in without my parents noticing much. I just text them very so often to let them know I'm not coming home, but they're not stupid. They have to know that Jungkook and I do more than just hug, and that my toothbrush and pajamas are no longer in their house.

And... grudgingly, kids are looking especially cute right now.

If you'd told me six years ago, that in - well, six years, I'd be driving around town looking for a dozen roses the exact shade of blood, I'd have walked slowly away from you.

But here I fucking was.

Long story short, Jimin's wedding was in a week.

And, had I forgotten to mention that ever since Yoongs proposed (yup, Yoongi proposed), Jimin had turned extremely serious to make everything perfect?

"I swear to God, all the florists in this town are useless. The fuckers. I need blood red roses, not sunset red. And could you believe that bitch that offered me white roses? Like they're exactly the same as blood-red ones?! Jesus."

"Jimin-" I started, but Jimin sped up, the arrow on the speedometer inching past 80. I clenched the doorknob.

"We need to hurry if we're going to make the suit fitting at 2. I hope you've been laying off the ice-cream like I told you, Jin. I swear to God if you can't fit into your own suit, I'm going to make sure you don't wake up tomorrow."
