The rain began falling heavier, the pavements flooding and the once clear sky was now a pale gray.
Shoya took cover under the canopy of a cafe, re: was the best cafe in the neighbourhood, the coffee and the cakes were perfect or so he'd heard, he'd never bothered with such activities, they all seemed so pointless to him."The rain smells nice, refreshing, like a early summer morning"
The door opens and a girl steps out, she quickly stops herself from walking out into the storm. Shoya looks at her for a moment, her hair was light brown and fell about half way down her back, her eyes hazel and he skin looked smooth and perfect. She was wearing the uniform of Shoya's school.
The girls uniform is a creme coloured sleeveless sweater with pink piping around the collar and cuffs, a white short sleeved shirt underneath with a black skirt, black tights/leggings and black shoes. The boys uniform was the same just with trousers and a long sleeve sweater. She was eating a chocolate cake and drinking a coffee, Shoya found himself staring the quickly looked away but the girl noticed, she smiled at him then the rain let up and she walked off down the street.
