Bakugou looks around quietly as he sits on the park bench in a pair of sweatpants and his regular skull tee-shirt, the wind lightly tousling his hair. Not many people are around as the sun is starting to go down, leaving the sky an array of light pinks and oranges. Most families are probably getting ready to prepare dinner, adults having just gotten home from work, and children getting home from school. The early summer air is warm, and Bakugou appreciates the fact that the air is causing him to sweat a bit more, leaving his hands with a slight moisture. After all, he would rather be able to use his quirk easily in case of an emergency.

Thursday evening classes had finished only two hours ago and he had decided to go on a small walk, wanting to get away from the noise and not be bothered by random extras. He felt he wouldn't have been as calm had he not fought Kirishima earlier, exhausting his quirk and most of his usual temper in the one on one battle.

Kirishima has gotten a lot stronger the more time he spends at UA. Lately, it has become challenging for Bakugou to come out on top of the battles. It seems Kirishima has been putting in larger amounts of time for training. Most days when Kirishima doesn't want to train by himself, he comes to Bakugou to see if he's up for more exercise. Kirishima has also increased the time he can use unbreakable, now able to hold it for almost five minutes.

Bakugou enjoys the time he has to fight with Kirishima, in the physical sense. He trusts that Kirishima will put in as much effort into their matches as Bakugou does, if not more. He is quite proud of Kirishima, even if he will never admit it aloud. He loves being able to put in everything he's got and not having to worry about hurting Kirishima. Sometimes Bakugou struggles to keep up with him because the other dodges or blocks his attacks with hardened skin.

On the other hand, Bakugou heavily dislikes the moments when they fight for reasons other than sparing. Like when they disagree on something and get into arguments. Most of the time, it's only a small dispute on the way Bakugou acts around people or something he had said in the heat of the moment that may have gone a bit too far.

Sometimes Kirishima wants him to spend time with the class in the common room or when they go on outings as groups. Kirishima understands that he doesn't like to be in big groups because he's not a very social person, but in the least, Kirishima wants him to spend time with their squad. In the end, Bakugou usually gives in to Kirishima's pleading, but not before he makes sure Kirishima knows this will not be an all of the time thing.

Bakugou is pulled from his thoughts when he hears voices steadily increasing in volume from a little ways down the path leading towards the trail in the woods. Looking to see if he could tell where the owners of the voices were coming from, he contemplates whether he should intervene in whatever is going on. After all, he did come to the park to relax for a bit, but apparently, these extras have to ruin the peace he was getting. He sighs as he figures he should set up to see what's happening, after all, it is what a hero would do.

Standing up from the wooden bench and brushing his hands along his pants, he follows the wooded path to the noise. He finds two women standing alone, evidently trying to work out some sort of argument. He can't see much of them as he comes up behind them quietly, but he can make out that both of their hair lengths hit at approximately their shoulders and their skin seems to be dark in color.

Stepping quietly over anything that might be loud enough to startle them and make them aware of his presence, he inches closer, now standing only a few feet behind them. Even with his close proximity, the two don't seem to notice him, too engaged in their conversation. He listens closely, trying to get some grasp of what's going on. They don't sound like they are from Japan. Their accent sounds American.
