Chapter 31

Riker's pov

We finished drinking coffee and we were talking I bought ross a sandwich for later

Riker:come on guys let's go

They nodded and we stood up and we walked together

I stood In front of the door and knocked no one answered

so I opened the door and smiled a big smile we entered I looked at vanessa and rydel and the two of them were smiling

In front of us was ross sleeping beside laura he was hugging her his head on laura shoulder

The sad part was that ross had tears on his cheeks

Rydel:awww finally

She then took her phone out and took a picture

then we sat down

Riker:I don't understand why are you taking pictures of ross with laura ross crying or him kissing laura and now him sleeping beside her what's the point

I said confused

Rydel:because when laura wake up I'm going to show her this picture and if ross did anything stupid and had a fight with laura or broke her heart I will show him those pictures to make him remember what happened to him when Laura had an accident

I nodded then I looked at ross

He was frowning and tears were on his cheeks he was hugging laura from the side and his another hand was holding Laura's hand tight

Rydel and vanessa where talking but they stopped when they saw ross moving his head

We all looked at him

Then he placed his head on Laura's neck and stopped moving again

Then rydel and vanessa started talking but where stopped by a sound we all looked shocked At each other and we got up we walked to Laura's bed then we heard it again and this time ross woke up he looked at us and then down at laura

Laura was whimpering

Ross:laura

Laura whimpered again

Ross smiled big and cupped laura face and then he looked at me

Ross:call the doctor

I nodded and ran to the doctor

I ran with the doctor to the room

Doctor:what happened

Ross:laura started whimpering look

Ross then cupped Laura's face

Ross:laur

Laura whimpered

The doctor looked at laura and then at us smiling

Doctor:that means that she is trying to move or say something she is battling the coma and she's trying to wake up

I looked at ross and he was crying happy tears

Vanessa was smiling big

Vanessa:does that mean that she will wake up soon

Doctor:yeah but I don't know how soon it could be in one month one week one day one hour tomorrow or after three months we don't know and we can't say anything because that's how Laura's body is taking it

We nodded

Then the doctor went out

Ross then cupped Laura's face
