EPILOGUE

Thanks to the timely update of Miruthan, I got the mood to pen down the epilogue......

Almost 6 months later,

Today was a happy day for PS family...Their son Maaran was supposed to be brought back home after his treatment and post surgery therapies....

It took the poor soul almost half an year to return back to normalcy....

But the house was anything but normal....

The truth had shaken the very base of the family.....

Hardly one could see the sacrifice....

Stupidity.....

Only mere stupidity was visible....

All made sense now to the whole family.......

The mental trauma he would have faced to run away from his life, Pandian Stores...

The torture she would have felt seeing Maaran calling her as Chithi....

Kumaresan mama could make out why his favourite boy had left the moment he had addressed his wish of being called a grandad of his child....

Poor his kids heart was bleeding....

He was ignorant to his boys pain.....no to a fathers pain.....

All he wanted was to slap him and put some sense into his head.....

But, he already looked broken beyond repairs.......

Not a single soul stood without tears.....

The conflicting pain of a mother and sufferings she underwent were taking the forms of wails......silent wails with big tears.....

Parvathy and Murugan didnt know if they should stay aloof at their daughter or hug her .....their son in law though was at fault looked anything but a defeated father.....to the experienced eyes.....

But all was not lost.....

With the stem cells safely preserved....NeuroGen in Mumbai was the light in their lives....

Though stem cell theraphy was only starting to boon, the doctors had great hope on the recovery and normalcy after hearing the age and the case from the neurologist.....

Nothing was same after the revelation.....

Dhanam and Moorthy had started to drown in selfpity...

Their younger siblings had sacrificed too much for them.....way too much than anybody ever will.....

It showed their pure love and selfless nature.....

The promise mullai had done to dhanam didnt even cross her mind until Mullai and Kathir mentioned about it....

But, their insides were clenching in pain....

They felt it was their fault....

Had they adopted a child.....

These two wouldn't have done something stupid and hurted the family inflicting the brunt to themselves in the process....

Maaran would no longer be addressing them as appa and amma....

They will become what they are

Periyappa and periyamma.....

Though it hurted them and tore their hearts......it was fine.....

Their siblings had bore the brunt of their doings......

Maaran was too young....not big enough to understand the intensity of the mistakes done.......
