This A.U is kinda depressing and can get kind of morbid at times, so reader discression is advised.

A very Very long time ago Queen Jazzmine Dreammurr ruled the kingdom of Monsters with her Husband Alexander Dreammurr and aided by their royal scientist and advisor who was of brilliant of mind a decades ahead of his time Semi Sheriffs Gaster.
Jazzmine and Alexander where the parents of Toriel and ruled peacefully along the humans.

Until one day doing Toriel's betrothal and wedding, one human out of unknown reasons stabbed and killed Alexander.
Jazzmine raged war against the human race and fought it for 5 decades until the monsters where forced to surrender for exchange of Toriel's life.
Using what magic that the Sorcerers can use with the unbalance sealed the monsters underground using all human magic that was left to do so.
Jazzmine abdicated her crown to her daughter when the Barrier went up leaving Toriel as the new queen and ruling with her husband Asgore.
Toriel and Asgore never had any biological children but did adopt a child of the name of Monster kid. Why they adopted him is a sad tale..
An explosion happened and killed many monsters one dying mother begged Toriel to take her severely injured child and his stuff animal Temmie which Toriel humbly agreed and watched the monster dust infront of her..
And Asgore and Toriel raised Monster kid as their own.
In 1920 a human fell down escaping her abusive home, Frisk the soul of love was the first to fall into the abyss as she tripped on a vine running from her abusive mother.
There she met Monster kid and was accepted into the Dreammurr family.
At the same time Semi Sheriffs was working with his lab partner and in a failed experiment created a vile of pure negativity and darkness unable to dispose of it locked it in a compartment to hopefully never harm anyone
It's June 8th 1912, 2 years ago a child named Frisk fell down, she was (yes Frisk is female in this A.U) an 11 year old girl of Vietimesse descent, a very kind, loving child who until one day that all changed...
"You can't catch me!" Frisk teased to her adoptive brother Monster Kid as they played tag, Frisk wasn't watching where she was going
"Ouch!" A small child belted out as Frisk tripped over him and dropped the purple underground orchids he was holding (yes, that is indeed a real type of rare flower found in Australia)
"Sorry!" Frisk kept on running not putting much thought into what happened she was to focused on what she was doing
But a tall figure in a lab coat stopped her "hey, I think it will be nice if you stopped and help him instead of keep playing tag"
"Sorry Professor!" Frisk imidiatly apologized and ran to help the boy she ran into
"Tag!" Monster kid tapped her with his head, he was carrying his favorite toy, its somesort of cat creature with button eyes named "Temmie"
"Aww.. I only stopped because Professor River made me help this kid" Frisk huffed
"I have a name! it's P-" but they already took off down the road of the small town
A few hours later, Frisk and Monster kid was sent to be babysat by Professor River when she was doing overtime.
"Careful, this place is dangerous and no place for children, Toriel said for me to watch you here because she believes that nothing will happen when I am here, but I told her that it's a bad idea but she's the queen, so I must follow her orders" Professor River told the two, "AND DON'T TOUCH ANYTHING!"
And they sped off to look around "you don't even need to have children at home, I to know that this is going to end miserably." Professor River mummbled to herself
*CRASH*
"FRISK!" Monster kid yelped and ran away and fear
"I TOLD YOU NOT TO TOU-" Professor River froze in speech "THAT'S A VILE OF PURE HATE AND MISERY, WHAT IS GOING ON IN YOUR HEAD FRISK?"
But she wasn't Frisk anymore...
Frisk died that day.
Or her orginal self did..
Her soul was corrupted by the substance that was created by accident in a failed experiment.. turning her into a demonic being of vengeance.
THE ANGEL OF DARKNESS, THE BRINGER OF DESPAIR, FEAR, PAIN, HATE, AND VENGEANCE.
The Professor had only one choice but to banish Frisk to a parell dimension just like theirs but darker, The Terror Realm the upside down of Fallenswap the place where all the bad thoughts and feelings run ramped
M.K fell into the core from tripping over a cord
Prince Asgore (when someone marries a queen they don't inherit the title of king or atleast not in British monarchy) and Queen Toriel had a fight over what happened and how Toriel should have listened to River.
Asgore left Toriel alone and Toriel never seen him since.
Toriel never blamed River for either of her adopted children's death, and let her continue to work along side Semi Sheriffs.
Deep inside hoping to help Frisk return from her corrupted form and come back to the overworld...
