Jin wasn't doing well.

After the entire underlander attack, here been closing himself off from anyone and everyone.

He never liked to admit it, but he's a sensitive person. He can be strong, sure. But that always leads to him curling up in bed feeling weak and useless afterwards.

That feeling is exactly how he found himself on a rooftop a few buildings down from where they all stayed. His blonde hair disheveled by the wind and his clothes gradually getting soaked by the slight sprinkle that he was sure would turn into a furious thunderstorm soon.

It was late in the evening, maybe 10 pm, Jin wasn't sure, he was too sulked to even bother checking the time.  The weather was getting colder by the second, the rain getting heavier every passing minute.

The blonde boy stuffed his freezing hands into the pockets of his jackets, sniffing the cold air as a golden tear escaped his eye then followed by another, and another. Before he knew it, he was silently crying, his eyes getting red and puffy.

The male walked over to the edge taking his hands out of his pockets and stretching them out, as if he could fly away.  He stepped into the ledge, looking down at the eight story drop onto the street below him and sighed letting the wind rock his body, making him feel dizzy and lightheaded.

His head started spinning rapidly, his vision betraying him as he stepped closer to the edge. Just when Jin thought it was over, when he was ready to feel the air fly past him as he fell.

A hand caught the back of his jacket.

"I'm not letting you do this." A female voice spoke, soft and steady.

"Why? I'm weak, I'm so sensitive it's pathetic." The blonde spoke, chuckling painfully. Not caring who he was talking to.

"I've seen too many people go like this, I can't watch another one slip through my fingers." the voice continued. Jin sighed, his vision clearing. He stepped off of the ledge and wiped his eyes with the sleeve of his sweater that was peeking out from under his jacket. Once he finally looked up he was met with a head of vibrant red hair and a pair of beautiful hazel eyes.

"Thank you-"

"Kiya, I'm Kiya." The girl - Kiya - said, smiling softly, a small sad glimmer in her eyes.

"Thank you Kiya, I- I'm really sorry-" Jin sniffled, tears gathering in his eyes once more.

"Hey- hey, it's okay. I've had my fair share of attempts myself." The red head said calmly, placing a hand on the males shoulder and pulling him farther away from the edge.

"I- don't even k-know why y-" The blonde started sobbing, bringing a hand up to his mouth, trying to conceal his cries.

Kiya just pulled him into a hug, brushing a hand over the male's back in a comforting manner, hushing him softly. "Let's get you back home"

"O-okay."

Kiya slowly pulled back from the hug grabbing Jin's hand and guiding him towards the door that lead to the staircase. They made their way down, Kiya's hand never letting go of Jin's.

The soft light of the streets hit Jin's face making him look even more ethereal than before, the remaining trails of tears on his cheeks glistening in a light gold. the red head tugged at his hand a little, a small smile adorning her lips. Jin couldn't help but mirror her smile with his own.
