Have you heard of the word repent, if you haven't I'm gonna tell you what it means.
The repentance (metanoia) called throughout the Bible is a summons to a personal, absolute and ultimate unconditional surrender to God as Sovereign. In other words it means to ask God to forgive you of the sins you do but when you repent your asking for God's forgiveness and you have to try to stop doing it
