"Hey Devi!" I ran towards her, waving.
"Oh hey Ari. I'm just waiting for Fab and Eleanor." She smiled at me.
I stood next to her as we began chatting. I felt a warm tense on my shoulder, I jumped. Turning around I saw a smiling Fabiola and an overly excited Eleanor "Oh my god!"
I yelped, pushing her playfully "You scared the hell out of me! Speak next time," I laughed.
(Time skip to class, because... I'm stupid.)
"Okay... so I've already assigned seats where out future boyfriends are. Fab you sit there." She pointed to a seat next to a boy, "Ele, you sit over there." She pointed to a seat next to a boy eating an onion.
"Ari, you sit over there." She pointed to a seat next to Ben's, I looked at her questionably "Uh... Ben is my friend."
She looked at me with crossed arms "Exactly, which makes him easily obtainable. Now sit!" I shrugged and began walking over to the seat. Sitting down I waved to Ben, he waved back.
"Psst!" A heard a whisper, I turn around and see a boy with curly dyed hair.
"I literally love your outfit! And you hair, wow. Beautiful!" He said in a feminine accent "Oh wow, thank you!"
"Hey Jonah! You smell really good today." Devi said. He turned to her and made a face "Thank you, it's forever by Mariah Carey." Ben turned to look at me with his eyes slight widened, he then looked to Devi then to Jonah.
The teacher began his lecture. Just as he was talking the door clicked open, everyone turned the noise. A tall, tired looking boy stepped into the room. Not making eye contact with anyone in the room he sat beside me.
The teacher continued on.
(Time skip to after class.)
I exchanged numbers with Jonah near the door of the classroom.
"Okay, I'll text you after school, Kay'?" He nodded and began walking away. I turned around and bumped into someone slightly "Oh shi-, sorry about that." I said looking up
It was the boy from before "Oh... it, uh... no problem" he said. He was actually not that bad looking up close... I feel scummy thinking like that.
"Well..." I paused "I'm Arizona, uh... nice to meet you." I said sticking out my hand, he looked down at it confused before taking my hand and shaking it "You shake... that weird and Arizona?" He said smiling.
"What's weird is having a conversation and yet not telling me your name." And said taking my hand back and putting it on my chest. He still had a goofy looking half smile on his face.
"I'm Paxton..."
"And you think Arizona is weird?"
