Chapter 2:Detention

After school

"I can't believe we got detention"said Harry.

"I know,it was all my fault!" Said Chloe.

"No it wasn't,it was an accident"said Niall.

As they where walking to detention they still had awkward talks because they just met.

"Where is this place?" Said Zayn

"It said on the slip the basement" said chloe

"The basement,I thought it would be a normal classroom or something"

They walked to a door that read the basement,Chloe opened the door and walked down the stairs.

"Hi are you looking for detention?" A boy said.
"Yes we got lost" said Chloe.

"Ahh detention is this way,do you want me to show you around?" He said gesturing his hands around.

"Sure,why is it down here?" Harry said.

"Well the reason why detention is down here is because the principal doesn't like clubs,he only cares about sports in this school,that's why all of the clubs are down here,they are like secret clubs" he said to them.

"Oh thats why there are no art rooms or music rooms." Louis said.

"Yep,down here are we have art club,chess club,book club,computer club,science club and the maths geeks" he said pointing out to each club while walking club.

"Soo where's the music club?" Said Chloe.

"We don't have a music club,we do have a music room,but it hasn't been used in ages and that's why the principal changed it into the detention room,that's why the principal doesn't care about music or art,he only cares about the athletes,that's why we have soo many trophies from American football and soccer" he said.football from where I am from)

They reached the detention room.
"Thanks for showing us around,we really appreciate it." Niall said.

"No problem,have fun in detention" he said and walked off.

They stood in front of the door and there was a sign that says detention.The walked in and a teacher stood at the chalkboard.

"Welcome to detention,please sit down" she said in quite a strict voice.

Everyone looked at each other and awkwardly sat down at a desk.

"Right your here in detention,there will be,
No eating
No drinking
No talking
No tapping
No singing
"And while I'm gone I want you to clean this room back into a music room."

Then she left the room to do something.
Then Chloe stood up and started to clean the room and sorted out the papers,then Niall helped Chloe out and cleaned the old dusty guitars and Harry did as well.
Suddenly Liam found drum sticks and started tapping them on the table to a beat,Zayn found a double bass and played along,Niall while he and Harry started to play guitar,Louis came in and played a melody on the xylophone and then started to play piano,Liam stood up and played the drum kit at the back of the room and played along with them,Chloe looked at them and smiled and started to sing a few notes.

Chloe danced around the room picking up things,while singing and the boys are playing to the beat of the song.
Once they Finnish the boys where amazed.

"You can sing?!" Said Louis.

"Did you write that song ,or did it just popped up,it was amazing." Said Liam.

"Ya kind off,you guys are soo good as well,Liam you drum playing is amazing and Niall,Harry and Zayn your guitar and bass playing and on point and Louis your piano playing."Chloe said but cut off by the teacher.

"What are you doing,didn't I say you guys to clean up!" She shouted.

Chloe ran back to her seat and the guys looked at here.

"I am so sorry,we just got distracted" Chloe says scared.

"You guys I don't know what to say,I am so...." she said with a pause.

Everyone looked at the teacher waiting.

"AMAZED,Chloe your voice is beautiful!!"

Everyone smiled and walked back to our seats

"Thank you umm,I got scared there"Chloe said.

"Xfactor UK!" The teacher said.

"What ??" Everyone said

"Xfactor uk is so popular for bands and singers,it's a competition." She said.

"But isn't there one in here in the USA?" Chloe said.
"Yes but the one in the UK is better and greater,auditions start in September."she said

"It's true,I've seen so many good auditions but I am not sure if we should enter" said Louis.

"I think we should" Niall said.

"Anyway we also have a Halloween concert coming up at the school you guys should perform" she said with excitement.

"We could do it,but we only just met,so we need to give it some time and think"said Liam.

"True" Chloe.

"Ok I will let you guys think for two weeks,but don't let anyone find out or the principal that there is a band ok" she said.

They all nodded their heads and left detention.

Louis POV
As I was walking home from detention,which was actually quite entertaining and a bit wired as I just met these people.
As I walked home I heard music from a warehouse,I stopped and hid behind a bush and looked inside,I saw a guy singing and his band playing along and then I realised it was Chris who we got Into a food fight with at lunch today,that guy I don't like at all.If we go to the Halloween concert we would be in big trouble by the audience because someone could tell the principal,if we practice in the music room someone could see us and spread rumours and that could reach the principal.And another thing we don't have our band name yet.
