how to not write like a moron

I forgot to post this first, but I feel like I need to say this before we get further into this book: I am not perfect. I am not taking a jab at writers, I just want to help writers improve. I make mistakes, I've done some of the things I will jab at in this book, my grammar isn't perfect and neither is my spelling (well, when I'm like super tired). In a WIP, I accidentally wrote "sour taste on their tongues" three times in one paragraph. Or my spellcheck changes a word without me noticing, or I'm typing too fast and I don't realise my mistake until it's too late.

The purpose. of this book is to poke fun at fanfiction, and help new or inexperienced writers improve their writing and stories. Writing is something I take great pride in, and it's basically a big part of my life, and I want to help others enjoy writing as much as I do.
