bayshore academy is the 2nd hardest high school to get into of the county. though laurelie has the smarts to make it in, she is almost certain she is attending it because of her father being the principal and mother being a PTA mom. laur is given many rules but seems to bend them to suit her comfortability. she is the most popular girl in the school, but not by choice. she views herself as none different than anyone else. she feels truly accepted though, around her small group of friends. when BSA decides to open a program for exchange students to come in, as students can travel out, laurelie isn't affected in the slightest and believes that it is just another one of the programs that the school runs. that is, until she must live with one of the exchange students her age, for 6 months straight. with all of the showing around and introducing, and the student suddenly asking her questions about certain aspects in her life that she has never thought about, how will she react?
