Overworked

THIRD PERSON OMNISCIENT

Dahyun and Jimin have been married for a couple years now, and in the beginning they were doing great. They were so happy to finally be married, they couldn't wait for the rest of their future together. Now they are a couple years into their marriage, and they need to provide for their family.

Dahyun is six months pregnant, and Jimin had lost his job just after Dahyun became pregnant. They tried getting as much help as they could from their parents, but they didn't want to be a burden. Jimin is now working three part time jobs, only getting two, maybe three if he's lucky, hours of sleep everyday.

Dahyun hated how much Jimin would work, and she wanted him to stop and take a break, but he never does. He will never stop until he is stable enough to provide for his beloved wife, and soon to come baby.

Dahyun was in bed sleeping as it was four in the morning, and Jimin just came back from work, ready to get sleep and wake up again only two hours later for his next job.

Jimin walked into his bedroom to see his wife sleeping soundly. Just the sight of her made Jimin want to break down crying. He felt horrible to put her through this situation, of worrying if they would ever to be able to provide for their baby. He thought all of this was his fault, and he thought he needed to fix this problem on his own.

Jimin got ready for bed, but before he could even walk to his bed, Dahyun woke up.

"You're back." Dahyun said tiredly but she was excited to see her husband. Since the only time Jimin ever came home was to sleep, Dahyun never got to see him. So right now was a very rare moment.

Dahyun hugged Jimin so tight as if he was never coming back, and he did the same, "I missed you, Jimin, so much."

"I missed you too." Jimin said as he kissed her head.

"But I missed you a lot." Dahyun sobbed into Jimin's shirt, Jimin was surprised that Dahyun started to cry.

"Please, baby don't cry." Jimin rubbed her back to calm her down.

"Jimin, we haven't seen each other in so long, and we're married we live in the same house. Do you think this is how normal couples live?" Dahyun cried into Jimin's chest.

"I know, I know, I'm sorry." Jimin hugged Dahyun tighter.

Dahyun shook her head, "Don't aplogize, this isn't your fault. You're working so hard, the last thing you should do is apologize." Dahyun lifted her head up from Jimin's chest and looked up at him, "I love you so much, please don't push yourself too hard or think any of this is your fault."

Jimin just nodded, trying so hard not to let any tears fall from his eyes, he had to be strong in front of his wife.

"I love you too." Jimin slowly pecked Dahyun's lips.

"Now, stop crying." Jimin wiped Dahyun's tears away with his hands.

"Sorry I got so emotional, its the hormones." Dahyun chuckled as she placed her hands on her growing baby bump.

"I almost forgot to say hi to our little baby." Jimin smiled as he bent down to Dahyun's stomach.

"Hey little guy, how are you in there?" Jimin said as he caressed Dahyun's bump.
