Setagawa's heart ached as he sat by the fence of the roof. He watched his group of friends laugh and eat together with the new boy, Yuge. Not that Setagawa was jealous, but that not one of his friends had even acknowledged his existence. Not even Kensuke, who gives him daily hugs, or Kousuke, his own damn fiancé. Suddenly, the roof doors open and a group of three kids come out. Two boys and one girl, all of which looked like some of the biggest punks you could find. Masahiro's friends shot the three a confused look, but went back to talking. As the three walked closer towards Setagawa, he noticed who they were and his heart began pounding. The girl was Ioko Minami, the most popular girl in school and Shige's first crush. The two boys were Sakima Haiden and Siajo Haiden, twins that grew to be the toughest local gang members. Nobody dared press these three's buttons. The three planted themselves in front of Setagawa. "Oi, pendejo, out of here, this is our spot." Setagawa jumped to his feet and walked past them briskly, before his wrist was grabbed suddenly and he was thrown back against the fence. "Now that I think of it, it's kind of disrespectful how this brat didn't even greet us, or the fact that he even thought he was good enough to fill our spot while we were away." Setagawa's stomach dropped and he murmured a quiet sorry. The three shook their heads in union. "Too late kid, too. Late~." Ioko cooed, and all three curled their fists.

Setagawa's eyes blinked open and looked around in confusion. It was dark out now and he was still on the schools rooftop. Dry blood was dribbled down his chin and clung to his shirt. Luckily, it was only nine and the art club was staying in until ten, so the doors were still open. Setagawa left the building and strolled to his apartment. As he unlocked the door, still somewhat dazed, the sound of bed springs creaking and moaning came from the room. He sighed and re-locked the doors, he would go to the Ohshiba residence but he honestly he just can't face them right now. He headed to the only other option of his: the beach. He sat back into the sand and slowly fell asleep.

For weeks Setagawa was harassed, beat up, tortured, and bullied by the popular kids, cliche as it is. No one noticed or even bothered to look his way. What did he ever do to deserve this? After a month, Setagawa stopped going to school all together. No one noticed until something happened between Yuge, Kensuke, and Hasekura.

"What the hell, Yuge?!" Hasekura hissed in seething anger. Yuge had just attempted to kiss Kensuke and both the ginger and hazel haired boys were upset. Yuge shrugged and smirked. "What? I want him to be mine. I love him, so?" Kensuke stepped forward. "That doesn't mean you need to try and kiss me! Especially when you know perfectly well that we're together!" Yuge shrugged again and left stopping at the door and grinning evily at the couple and their friends and older brother. "Ah, well, it doesn't matter. I've done what I wanted to do. Now you've all turned on and neglected your pathetic excuse of a friend. Poor, weak, Masahiro." Afterward, he left and each of the boys realized what Yuge said. Now that they all thought of it, they haven't even seen Setagawa for months. All of their hearts dropped to the pits of their stomachs and they agreed that they should go visit him. They walked to his apartment but stopped dead when they found a parking lot full of cops and ambulances. They all jogged up to a sobbing Megumi Setagawa. "W-what happened?!" Kousuke asked dreadfully. She sniffed and looked up. "I-I can't even explain without crying... but I'll have the p-police show you..." she said, tearing up again. She waved down an officer and had him show the group up to the apartment bathroom. The officer held the door open and Kensuke was the first to enter. He gasped loudly and stumbled back into Hasekura's arms as he began to sob. Hasekura looked at the tub, winced and pulled a sobbing Kensuke out of the room. The rest of the group looked and they all felt sick. When it was Kousuke's turn he collapsed to his knees and sobbed silently. The sight of a beaten Masahiro with cuts all along his arms and legs killed Kousuke inside with each tear that rolled down his face. The COD (Cause Of Death) had apparently been suicidal bleed out. It was often used as medical treatment in the past but recently used as a suicide method.

A few years pass

Kousuke, Kensuke, and the rest of the group sit in the living room laughing and eating together. Although the hole in their hearts for their dear friend Masahiro cannot be filled, they feel that he'd want them to be happy. Kousuke had sworn, however, to never move on. He knew that even through death, Masahiro had a deep, undying and selfish love for him and he swore to be his forever. Masahiro, now angelic and invisible to the others, sits among them, watching them live on happily and his heart swells. He knows that he hurt them but that they will have happy and fulfilling lives. "I love you guys. I'm sorry, but this was my decision..."

The End.
