Y/N POV

When I was a young child, there was a twin girl who was called a freak because of their appearance. But I never judged someone by their appearance, only by their personality. I was the only one that would keep them company, I learned that their names are Elizabeth and Dorothy, or Bette and Dot Tattler for short.

I would always went to their house to play with them. But one day my parents had to move to another city because of their jobs, they begged me to not leave them alone but the decision is done and I decided to leave them a gift that I made for them and bid them goodbye.

Bette and Dot's POV

"Y/N, please don't leave us. " Bette begged her only friend. "I'm sorry Bette, but my parents have to move away because of their jobs. Here, I give you this to remember me" she said while giving Dot and I a bracelet.

Y/N POV

When I decided to go to Fräulein Elsa's Cabinet of Curiosities to watch the show in Jupiter, Florida. I went inside and see that there is not many people and I took a seat in the back.

When the show is over I decided to talk to Jimmy Darling since I had met him and his mother before. "Jimmy, how have you been? " I said to him "Y/N, never better. Do you still cook? " he asked me "yes, why? " I said "well, do you want to work here? You can help cook and serve the food for the rest. " he said. "sure I guess" I said

"Y/N! " two voices stopped me in my tracks. "huh, who-" I said while turning around "Bette? Dot? Why are you here and not with your mom? " I ask them.

They explained everything from the death of their mother and how they got here.

"I see, good luck then" I said while walking away but they stop me "hey, Y/N. What are your feelings towards us? " they asked me. "oh, I only see you as an old friend, that's all. " I said, not seeing their frowns.

Y/N POV

After buying some groceries for food and drinks, I went back to the carnival and the place seems eerily quiet, there are no sounds apart from my footsteps. I put the groceries on the table and went to look for the others, when I went to one of the tent I saw dead bodies of the freaks but no Bette and Dot. A hand immediately covered my nose and mouth with a rag, and I tried to not breathe but soon I was running out of air, and I was unconscious.

Bette and Dot's POV

After killing the rest, we clean ourself up, and pour the chemicals into a rag.

When we saw Y/N come back from her errands, we hide ourself and follows her. When she sees the dead bodies, we immediately cover her nose and mouth. When she finally faints, we drag her body to a place that we specially made and lays down her body on a bed, chained her ankles to the bed and watch as she wakes up.

Y/N POV

When I opened my eyes and sit on the bed, I see Bette and Dot "why are you doing this?" I ask them, "because we want you to ourself, and we can't let anyone have you. You won't be leaving us anytime soon" they said.
